De Kloof Heritage estate is a Cape Dutch boutique hotel and spa , is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Swellendam. It has a 12-metre outdoor pool and spa with panoramic mountain views. De Kloof Estate is a gem. Historic, attractive and wonderfully restored. The rooms were well decorated and well done, especially the bath rooms. The staff was very professional and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend the De Kloof Estate. BP

Set in Robertson, 1.3 km from Robertson Art Gallery, The Grand Hotel Robertson offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Our room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean (much like the rest of the hotel). The bedding and toiletries provided were of a high standard, and there was a general feeling of luxury. Fridge provided, along with kettle/tea and coffee. We very much appreciated the early check-in and the complimentary glass of wine. Wifi was strong and there was secure parking onsite. Added bonus of two beautiful in-house dogs! The owners were helpful and personable, and Amanda was kind enough to drive us to and from the train station in the hotel's own black cab. All the staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. The pool area was immaculate and set amongst very pretty plants. Comfy day beds, very clean pool, towels provided etc. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and both were good. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable. Would not hesitate to return if we're in the area again.

The food was simply outstanding! I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant, and every meal was top-notch, thanks to the exceptional chef Derek Lowe. My room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the small balcony provided a breathtaking view. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
