We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. Amazing place to stay and chill, to have a relaxed vacation. The beach is right in front of you, we woke up to the sunrise every single day. The restaurant has amazing and kind staffs, they were very helpful to us. It was our honeymoon vacation and we enjoyed staying there! The receptionist girl was really sweet and welcoming, then we met the owners who were so nice, we met their dogs (adorable)!!! I loved the south Zanzibar the best, so this room played a good part for us got visit all the near by places like page and the most beautiful MAALUM Zanzibar.

Remote, quiet place with super friendly staff, good food and enough relax space, sunbeds and hamocks to enjoy this little piece of paradise. By the way: I read in some comment that supposedly water bottles would cost 10$. We paid 2$ for a large bottle, which I think is fair given transportation etc.. I recommend asking the hotel for the pick-up from the airport, as it is not easy to find for anybody not familiar with the last kilometer. All in all we had a wonderful stay and are very grateful to the marvellous team at Kusini!
By far our favorite hotel. We booked the garden view pool villa for 1 day and visited during our honeymoon. They organized a surprise for us with candles and flowers which made us so happy. All stuff were genuine and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was unreal and during dinner we had live music playing cocktails were very good as well. The main pool was very unique and the pool in our room was bigger than what I imagined. The rooms were very luxurious and beautiful. Also, when my husband had a sunburn, they brought us the hotel's doctor to check on him which we appreciated a lot. We had a great stay and thank you very much for this!

Everything - this hotel is paradise. We almost booked this hotel before booking Dongwe Club but after 3 nights at that other place we booked out and came to this piece of paradise. Faultless, beautiful, value for money and so good we extended by two more nights. I want to go back immediately.
The location on the beach was perfect. You could walk into the ocean when the tide was in. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The staff and hospitality were exceptional. Andess was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Louise from Kemi Tours and Travel was outstanding and went out of her way to accommodate us. Humphrey provided the transfer service and he was a great driver and fun to be with!

Most relaxing place I know on the planet. Locally built, owned an run lodge in a not very developed part of Zansibar. Not for people who wants parties and beach life, but if you're after beautifull surrondings, friendly environment and comfy, relaxing days this place is highly recommended. Food selection is a little limited, room standard is not european, and its about as remote as you get on Zansibar, but none of this matters to me.
Location is absolutely superb..paradise.Breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit juices meats bacon eggs toast coffee and even Nutella with pancakes and crepes😋 👌 😍 . Service was exceptional at breakfast which is included ..loved my room which was clean and on the beach. I was welcomed with a beautiful flower arrangement 💐 on my bed and throughout the room..room also had a mosquito net which I appreciated. Most friendly and helpful receptionist Elly and Oana not sure of this is the right spelling , great first impressions. They ensured my stay was amazing. Thank you guys❣🌷Overall felt safe loved the stunning beach the location of this hotel and its staff.I also enjoyed a few delicious dinners here as well that were very flavourful and delicious. Great value and was v. pleased with my stay.✔👏💯❤ I recommend this place and hope to be back someday 👌 👏 👍 🙂

This resort is as good as all the other reviews say. The staff is wonderful and make you feel right at home. The facilities are modern, clean, environmentally conscious and provide all the comfort and options you could want. The pools are wonderful as swimming in the ocean is only possible for about 3-4 hours every day and the food at the restaurant is amazing. Fresh, local flavours and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the location because the beach was clean and rock free. Also, it wasn't crowded and we could walk into Page or Jambiani if we wanted more activity or shops. It fit our need for quiet and relaxation perfectly. Plus there were several great restaurants on either side of the resort.
