The food was outstanding. The staff were pleasant. The jetty structure with the sunbeds, pool, etc. was very nice and pleasant.
Although the resort did not match our expectations based on photos and reviews from Booking.com, we were pleased that each time we raised a concern it was handled quickly and graciously.

This is place was so much more then we expected. The bungalows are beautifully located at the beach with modern and clean facilities. The view was spectacular and the service exceptional. They greeted us with our names and made the stay feel very personal. We had a private bungalow with its own private little roof terrace with view. The breakfast was brought directly to your own little housefront with view on the ocean.

The breakfast was included and was amazing! It also was so close to the beach and just a quick 5 minute walk. They also have a partnership with another place located in the beach where we were able to use their beach chairs and order food with a 10% off discount. It is also located close to a lot of fun restaurants, and has food that you can order there too if you are not wanting to go out. The pool is also really nice and great for hot days or even night swims.

Jambiani is a charming fishing village on the southeastern coast of Zanzibar, known for its pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and laid-back atmosphere. It offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing a tranquil and idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. It is my favorite place on the whole island of Zanzibar!

For me jambiani is too quiet personal preference. And a lot of it is tired with some notable exceptions.wonderfull for those who want a really quiet area, with nothing to do.would suggest really do your homework on property and the tide tables for your stay

We basically spent our 3 days just at the hotel except for long walks on beach. We were looking for total relaxation after very busy trip and the Spot was it. If we knew how nice and friendly it would be, we would have booked a longer stay.

The room at Pili Pili was of a good size, bed was big and comfortable had 2 fans and windows out to the fantastic view of the beach and sea, we were located in a triple room by the after sports building, had 2 large outside beds touse and a hammock, which was my favourite. The door locked with a padlock when you went out, so felt secure, area was very safe. The hotel had a pool, covered and non-covered eating areas, had a good menu and food was of a reasonable standard, chips were the best!!. and pricing was also good, but there are a few other bars/restaurants to visit not far from the hotel, which is good to explore and can go to the other PiliPili hotels to use bars/restaurants with a bus that takes you & brings you back if you wish to visit. There were sunbeds and other large beds to choose from around the pool and sunbeds on the beach. They offered trips arranged by the Hotel and had visiting acts in the evening, we were only there 2 nights but had entertainment for both. The staff were pleasant and helpful. On checking in we were given an outline of activities/services and were to find whats going on. The beach is fantastic, even though it has low and high tides, but great at high tide

Nice hotel and beach but not much to do outside hotel.Great if you are just spending time in a hotel having massages and relaxing.
We took a whole day tour around the island and that was very nice. The highlight was our lunch at " The rock " restaurant. It was amazing.

Zanzistar was such a great discovery! The staff is the kindest we met in Zanzibar, they are professional and lovely and we loved our time there. The location is perfect, two steps to the beach and the surrounding was our favorite part of Jambiani! The room was beautiful, clean and nicely decorated, and the same we can say about the common area. We loved the banana garden. We had a night movie while having dinner. The food is delicious and so are the cocktails!! Overall one of the best time of my entire trip! Do I recommend it?!!! 100%!
A little gem in Jambiani. I traveled around Tanzania for 3 weeks and this is for sure the best hostel I stayed in! Great atmosphere and very welcoming people in the bar and management. Very sad that I only had one night to spend at this beautiful place. The breakfast was great, but best of all was the people there. Lots of sunbeds, hammocks and little areas where you can sit and relax. Located directly at the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Spot, a small family owned hotel, right at the beautiful Jambiani beach. The people are super friendly and always helpful. The breakfast they serve was one of the best we had in our so far 6-month travel! If anyone is looking for a clean beachfront place in Zanzibar, I can 100% recommend the Spot :)
This hotel is stores away from the beach, has comfy rooms, a nice pool, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, and takes many steps to be eco friendly. They even have a water cooler offering refillable drinking water. This was our favourite hotel in Zanzibar and definitely worth going to.
