Lala Land Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Kizimkazi.

Everything was wonderful. The view from the restaurant and pool is fabulous. The room is big and comfortable. Food is very delicious and reasonably priced. And all the staff is very kind, professional and beautiful human beings. Without a doubt I would stay here again. There are also a few things to do in the area in case you want to venture out and do other things.

We enjoyed the architectural digest location and hospitality that was firstly given at reception as well as swimming games offered by your staff Michael. Karaoke was peculiar activity that really reminded us so much when we were told to sing and enjoyed with other guests.

This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. We look forward to meeting you all again! PS. A big thanks to Cliffton for recommending us Malaika, We enjoyed it to the fullest ;-)

It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.

The staff and the hotell facilties are the absulute best. The location is more quiet then other places, they do not have a beach like Kendwa but it you are just looking to relax a couple of days this does not matter. It is like on a little cliff, sooo nice!

Kizimkazi is a village, although in fact there are 2 distinct and separate areas, with 2 beaches. The rest of the area is comprised of large, private self-contained resorts with their own private stairways. There is not much to explore, but boat owners offer big-game fishing and dolphin-watching. There are only 2 restaurants, although some of the private resorts offer their restaurants to the public; but at a price. Hardly any touting which is nice; 3 or 4 days is probably sufficient to see all there is to see.

Place was very clean, food was nice and staff were very friendly, always available to assist They also organized transport for us to travel around Pete(Rasta man) was very friendly and he gave me some plants to bring to South Africa, I have them in my garden now Morning shower was terrible, water was always cold and it seemed like their geyser or boiler was faulty

The „ecohouse“ is a special and hidden treasure on the wonderful compound, very close to the beach in kizimkazi. The lovely style of the old materials in a fresh renovated condition was exactly our taste. Simplicity on its best. Selma is a worm host and the breakfast is close to a garden ceremony with good fruits and enough to eat. The village itself seemed to us peaceful. Tourists are not yet overehelming the traditional lifestyle. The fishermen and the beaching till sunset go well along. We regretted that we couldn’t stay longer.

Quiet and relaxing hotel with lots of places to sit and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. It feels very homely with the dogs adopting the guests and always ready to go for a walk! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate most evenings at the hotel and it was delicious. Breakfast was good, I loved the pancakes and the fruit plates and juices but after 11 days I was in need of a change.

Lovely lodge. If you want to really get disconnected and away from city life, this is the place! All the huts are within 200ft of the beach and the lodge is isolated and quiet. But an easy walk into the local village of Kizimkazi, or a taxi ride to Jambiani, Paje and other haunts. Hotel owners are gracious and attentive and the staff delightful!
