From the time we stepped into the property, we knew we were in the perfect place.
Calm, peaceful with the sound of birds to greet you as soon as you walk into the reception. The staff are absolutely out of this world- their kindness was remarkable. I find it hard to mention all the names here, as each and every single member of staff was exceptionally warm and helpful- to find this is extremely rare. Benjamin helped us out in literally almost everything- including arranging for some medication and testaments for our baby girl. Nitin, the bar manager helped arrange a custom baby chair for her as well and checked on us everyday. The general manager himself lent us the baby chair from
his house- it was a truly heartwarming gesture. The property itself is green, lush, luxurious and absolutely opulent. Going for bike rides was something we looked forward to as the beautiful Zanzibar breeze lifted us away into a magical world of nature and its bliss. The backyard pool only steps away from the sea was something we absolutely loved as well. Now coming to the food- the food was magnificent and the service in both restaurants more than perfect. Service with a smile all the way! We looked forward to the meals while we walked down or biked down to the restaurant- anticipating what would be on offer that day :) Grill station was OMG !
The dinner entertainment was also carefully selected- not too loud, just right and very very enjoyable!
We will miss this stay for a long long time, no matter where we go, there was something uniquely beautiful about the place.

This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute.
Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. We look forward to meeting you all again!
PS. A big thanks to Cliffton for recommending us Malaika, We enjoyed it to the fullest ;-)

It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.

The location is more quiet then other places, they do not have a beach like Kendwa but it you are just looking to relax a couple of days this does not matter. It is like on a little cliff, sooo nice!

Kizimkazi is a village, although in fact there are 2 distinct and separate areas, with 2 beaches. The rest of the area is comprised of large, private self-contained resorts with their own private stairways.
There is not much to explore, but boat owners offer big-game fishing and dolphin-watching.
There are only 2 restaurants, although some of the private resorts offer their restaurants to the public; but at a price.
Hardly any touting which is nice;
3 or 4 days is probably sufficient to see all there is to see.

Place was very clean, food was nice and staff were very friendly, always available to assist
They also organized transport for us to travel around
Pete(Rasta man) was very friendly and he gave me some plants to bring to South Africa, I have them in my garden now
Morning shower was terrible, water was always cold and it seemed like their geyser or boiler was faulty
I spend a wonderful relaxing moment in Kizimkazi, out of the north chaos.
Love the charm of Kamaleon Blue. Does not give you the routine of common Zanzibar's hotel vibe at all.
I loved my room, very stylish and cozy at the same time, clean and spacious. The bed!!!
The staff was extremely efficient and friendly but not intrusive.
The property had a fantastic position just next to the sea. and also a swimming pool where I enjoyed the early morning jet lag.

Quiet and relaxing hotel with lots of places to sit and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. It feels very homely with the dogs adopting the guests and always ready to go for a walk! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate most evenings at the hotel and it was delicious. Breakfast was good, I loved the pancakes and the fruit plates and juices but after 11 days I was in need of a change.
This place is paradise: so quiet and peaceful, with nice hosts and good equipements. Sunsets from the fishermen village of Kizimkazi are wonderful. And bonus: our hosts' cooking is amazing. I can only recommend to stay there!
The hotel was excellent, the staff was very caring, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, varied and suited to the requirements of every diner
