Maitai Rangiroa is located between the villages of Avatoru and Tiputa, on one of the largest lagoons in the Southern Hemisphere. Great location (3 min from airport), newly renovated bungalows with spacious bedroom and comfortable bed and good fresh bathroom. Bar and restaurant are offering a great view on the sea and swimming pool. Good food with normal prices. Hotel offered also rental bikes and excursions. Just perfect to relax.

Facing the beachfront, Raira Lagon offers 2-star accommodations in Avatoru and features free bikes, garden and private beach area. The property has a bar, as well as a restaurant serving Local... We went here for our honeymoon and also my husband's 30th birthday. The staff at Raira Lagon truly made everything as good as it could be for us, and made an amazing breakfast for my husband as I requested a surprise roomservice , thank you so much for this! The bungalow by the water is private , comfortable and beautiful! Daily cleaning, beautiful view, comfy and spacious bed, nice shower and bathroom. Everything you could wish for! Breakfast is good and is enjoyed with a lagoon view that is spectacular. Dinners are great and cocktails too, and sometimes they have traditional dancing shows by a local group which one should not miss! The snack by the hotel is also super great with tasty foods and drinks, so the availability for getting something to eat or drink is great always! The location is superb as it is close to the airport and in the middle of the main island , so you can easily get around to both ends of the island. Free bikes is a big plus!! And kayaks too. The staff also helped with booking excursions etc, which was very helpful. Will definitely come back when we visit French polynesia again! Thank you so much for making our stay amazing!!

Jeannine Lodge features air-conditioned accommodations in Avatoru. This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking. The vacation home has a private beach area. The location of the lodge is absolutely fantastic on Rangiroas lagoon side (regular reef shark sightings right in front of the porch!) on a quiet side street of the island. Within walking distance, one can find a small supermarket, multiple snack-style restaurants, multiple dive shops, and, more importantly, the famous Tiputa pass (there is a high chance to see dolphins directly from the shore when boats pass!). Bicycles are also provided for longer trips. It is well furnished, including a large fridge/freezer, a watercooler and an A/C. In addition, a nice selection of basic groceries (coffee, rice, juice, cream cheese, fruits, etc.) is provided on arrival. The family is genuinely warm, welcoming and happy to help out with transfers or other requests.

The host is so incredibly kind, one of the nicest people we’ve ever met in our travels! ☺️ The bungalow/house you get is very comfortable, and large! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Close to restaurants and you have a snack bar right next-door, very close to the scuba diving center because that’s probably why you’re there (like us. Right?) Don’t hesitate, book right away! 😊

The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking. The view from this property is magnificent. You sit on the beach, water side and watch the sunset every night. The canopy of trees and the little thatched roof porch make a perfect viewing spot with your evening cocktail and music. It is really beautiful, quiet and private. We used the BBQ which was well stocked with wood and worked great (made meals on this for 4 nights). There is a stove/oven available. This is a small, charming beach house consisting of a main room (bedroom/sitting area), bathroom en suite, and kitchen open to a little porch deck. Main room is well air conditioned. Kayaks, snorkel masks, and bicycles are provided. Bed was very comfortable. Washer is new (no dryer). Internet worked great.

Blue Lagoon Villa is a recently renovated villa in Avatoru where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, private beach area, and garden. We used to stay at a big hotel in Rangiroa, but really prefer the villa, more advantages. It has a real pool on the beach (not just a small one with no view) and the villa opens up to a stunning lagoon! The villa is large, spacious, modern, super clean, and very comfortable. We loved: - beautiful pool in front of the sea - the entire place opening up to the sea - Air conditioning in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (hard to find in Polynesia) - few small restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket just 3 minutes away on foot - Louis picking us up on the beach for excursions to the Blue Lagoon! - kayak trips were amazing - super comfortable beds - a private garden with no neighbors, the river, and the beach We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks this time! Thanks to Jonathan and Kateryna for all their help during our stay!

Actually we didn't have the chance to explore the town as transportation was hard to get. There were bikes to rent at the hotel for about $8/hour and the town is about 6 km from the hotel. We would probably have done it in the late afternoon if the staff didn't disprove of for safety reasons - bikes didn't have lights and it would have been hard to ride after sunset. So apart from the diving, we were kind a tied to stay in the hotel. The food was good, but the second day the variety of fish form the menu got poor. In general, Rangiroa is famous for its diving sites. If you are a diver you'll enjoy your stay.
Had a wonderful time at Moana Breeze. Marco and his family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured we had a great time on Rangiroa. Bikes were provided which made it easy to get around the island or to the grocery store, but Marco was always willing to give us a ride if we needed to get anywhere. We were also helped when it came to organizing excursions or day trips. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Would be thrilled to return one day.

it's the best hotel in the rangiroa island and everything is perfect, the staff are very good. huge space of the room, and super clean. Really appreciated the birthday cake for my child, after visiting the Rangiroa island, i realized how difficult it is to get a birthday cake, it's far beyond my expectation. highly recommend it.

This place is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely well located. I was in both of the high-end hotels on Rangiroa during my stay, and I felt that Rangiroa Cottage was just as nice. If you prefer the independence of staying in a home, then this is a far superior option. On top of that, it is much cheaper.
Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!
