Great location (3 min from airport), newly renovated bungalows with spacious bedroom and comfortable bed and good fresh bathroom. Bar and restaurant are offering a great view on the sea and swimming pool. Good food with normal prices. Hotel offered also rental bikes and excursions. Just perfect to relax.

The location of the lodge is absolutely fantastic on Rangiroas lagoon side (regular reef shark sightings right in front of the porch!) on a quiet side street of the island. Within walking distance, one can find a small supermarket, multiple snack-style restaurants, multiple dive shops, and, more importantly, the famous Tiputa pass (there is a high chance to see dolphins directly from the shore when boats pass!). Bicycles are also provided for longer trips. It is well furnished, including a large fridge/freezer, a watercooler and an A/C. In addition, a nice selection of basic groceries (coffee, rice, juice, cream cheese, fruits, etc.) is provided on arrival. The family is genuinely warm, welcoming and happy to help out with transfers or other requests.

Los mejor del alojamiento son sus anfitrionas. Mata y su hija son encantadoras y te hacen la estancia súper agradable. Nos enseñaron la isla, nos proporcionaron kayak, bicicletas, pan, huevos, fruta de forma totalmente gratuita y nos llevaron al aeropuerto. Siempre con una sonrisa y una dulzura especial. The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

The view from this property is magnificent. You sit on the beach, water side and watch the sunset every night. The canopy of trees and the little thatched roof porch make a perfect viewing spot with your evening cocktail and music. It is really beautiful, quiet and private. We used the BBQ which was well stocked with wood and worked great (made meals on this for 4 nights). There is a stove/oven available. This is a small, charming beach house consisting of a main room (bedroom/sitting area), bathroom en suite, and kitchen open to a little porch deck. Main room is well air conditioned. Kayaks, snorkel masks, and bicycles are provided. Bed was very comfortable. Washer is new (no dryer). Internet worked great.

We used to stay at a big hotel in Rangiroa, but really prefer the villa, more advantages. It has a real pool on the beach (not just a small one with no view) and the villa opens up to a stunning lagoon! The villa is large, spacious, modern, super clean, and very comfortable. We loved: - beautiful pool in front of the sea - the entire place opening up to the sea - Air conditioning in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (hard to find in Polynesia) - few small restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket just 3 minutes away on foot - Louis picking us up on the beach for excursions to the Blue Lagoon! - kayak trips were amazing - super comfortable beds - a private garden with no neighbors, the river, and the beach We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks this time! Thanks to Jonathan and Kateryna for all their help during our stay!

Nos alojamos en el Maitai Rangiroa, hotel muy recomendable a unos 6 km de Avatoru adonde fuimos usando las bicicletas que se alquilan en el hotel. Rangiroa es una isla sin playas (es en realidad un atolón), famoso lugar para hacer buceo. Hicimos la excursión a Isla de los Arrecifes, a una hora de barco, con paisajes divinos y playas de arenas blancas y piscinas naturales entre los corales. Algo a destacar: esta excursión no me parece recomendable para personas mayores o con problemas de movilidad, ya que hay que atravesar caminando desde la isla donde se desembarca hasta la isla donde se sirve el almuerzo, con el agua hasta la cintura o más. Si bien no hay olas, no deja se requerir cierto esfuerzo moverse por el agua cargando los efectos personales, cámaras de fotos, etc. Deberían advertir esto a los pasajeros. Muy bueno para hacer snorkel cerca del paso de Tiputa, donde además es un atractivo turístico ir a ver saltar a los delfines cuando empieza a bajar el sol.

Bungalow con vistas increíbles a la mejor playa de Rangiroa. Pequeño bungalow a 20m del agua con todo lo necesario. Baño correcto. Hotel aislado de todo. No hay nada mas a su alrededor. En la mañana hay un barco que te traslada del hotel al puerto principal en 40 minutos y regresa por la tarde, es gratuito. La travesía puede ser en ocasiones muy movida, según el estado del mar. Traslado del aeropuerto incluido. Kayak de uso gratuito.
Desayuno, comodidad, playa, transit room! porque dejamos la habitación y pudimos usar una en transito!
Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!
