If you’re lucky enough on a clear day it’s perfect to see the northern lights. Extremely spacious apartment with all basic amenities included. Only advice would be is to rent a car from the airport which is easy & affordable as taxis cost a fortune to get to the city/ airport & public transportation is scarce.

Set in Kvaløya and only 10 km from University of Tromsø, Kvaløya Aurora Apartment offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The house was clean, cozy, and spacious enough for 4 guests. We were also content that the unit came with a laundry machine, cookware, hair dryer, and even complimentary snacks! The free parking space came in handy, since we rented a car to explore the Kvaloya island. The apartment is also an 8-minute walk from the nearest bus stop with frequent bus service (every 15 - 30 min), which was also helpful. The host offered a lot of assistance (Thanks for the extra towels & scraping off snow from the car!), and we appreciated their quick responses to our inquiries. Overall, can't recommend this accomodation enough!
