The place is very cosy, with floor heating which is definitely appreciated during winter in Tromso! Very nicely equipped and decorated place, I'd recommend it for people who want to visit Tromso but don't want to spend their money in expensive hotels. The location is well connect to the city by bus (30/40 minutes to city center)

Nice and new apartment in Kvaloya, 17km from Tromsoe city centre in a quiet area. The bedroom was very small with a large comfortable bed. Bathroom with excellent shower. 1 large room with well equipped kitchen, a dining table, a sofa, an armchair and a huge TV. An excellent supermarket (Eide Handel) is located less than 2km from the apartment.

The apartment is spacious, enough place for 2 people. The bedroom is rather small, but there's a couch where you can sleep on well. There's a radiator in the living room (but none in the bedroom). With the -20 degrees outside, the inside of apartment was quite cold during the night because the heating was automatically decreased - but at least there were additional blankets to keep warm. The kitchen has most of the essentials, unfortunately, no coffee (which is usually considered essential when renting an apartment). Also some of the stuff (like pan or oven) were quite dirty (burnt food which was not cleaned properly), but plates, glasses etc were ok. There's also a washing machine in the bathroom and it also has heated floor, so in winter it was really nice. And the snowy views from the window were definitely awesome.

Situated in Sommarøy, Ecolodge Båthuset 69Nord offers a shared lounge. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, an open-air bath and a garden. The place is beautiful, very cozy and stylish. Rooms are almost noiseproof, I vas barely hear people downstairs. Beds are very comfortable! The owner is very nice and talkative, he even made for us presentation of his trips, giving us a better view at arctic adventures. The place is very clean and have stunning view. It's amazing place to stay, make new friends and see Northern lights.

Set in Kvaløya and only 10 km from University of Tromsø, Kvaløya Aurora Apartment offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The house was clean, cozy, and spacious enough for 4 guests. We were also content that the unit came with a laundry machine, cookware, hair dryer, and even complimentary snacks! The free parking space came in handy, since we rented a car to explore the Kvaloya island. The apartment is also an 8-minute walk from the nearest bus stop with frequent bus service (every 15 - 30 min), which was also helpful. The host offered a lot of assistance (Thanks for the extra towels & scraping off snow from the car!), and we appreciated their quick responses to our inquiries. Overall, can't recommend this accomodation enough!
