Really helpful visitor centre. Interesting historic town on Route 66. Grand Canyon Railroad trip to Grand Canyon is jewel in the crown. Good choice of restaurants and Bearizona worth a visit. Nearby forest trail walks.
Good place between amazing parks in Arizona. If you travel from Grand Canyon to Petrified Forest, I recommend you to spend night in Flagstaff. Nice city, a lot of good restaurants around, nice and cheap hotels. People are so nice there.
Arizona Sonora desert museum is wonderful. Recommend docent tour. Allow at least 2_3 hours. San Xavier del Bac Mission beautiful and worth the drive, Sabino Canton a nice walk, take shuttle to top and walk down. It was hot when we were there. Pima Air museum interesting.
We stayed in Tucson in order to visit the Kartchner Caverns. We chose the south east corner which was quite easy for travel to Benson area. Before we left, we visited several birding sights. The Sweetwater Preserve provided us with an enjoyable birding experience. Tucson was also handy for our next destination. We would like to return in order to see both the Biodome and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum as well as the Pima Air and Space Museum.
Beautiful scenery. The surrounding hills are incredible. Downside is it’s popularity is becoming its downfall. The main road through Sedona (89a) is becoming dangerous to cross with only a few cross walks along it. The risk is that it’s going to divide the town into two halves with a lot of restaurants on one side with shopping on the other. Also not keen on the touristy street downtown which feels tacky and full of cheap souvenirs for day trippers. I’ve been visiting Sedona for over 35 years and it could do with deciding where it’s heading in the future. Up market or day trippers or both. It felt like a town with two sections. One downtown for the day trippers and one for the residents. Not ideal for people who want to stay for longer period. Despite this, it’s still an incredibly beautiful location with nothing like it anywhere in the world. Arizona is one of the most beautiful states in the USA.
We were here for a baseball tournament at Sloan Park. WOW! We are Canadian and had never been to Arizona before. We loved it. Impressed with scenery and how clean Mesa (Tempe and Sedona) were.
The weather was great especially coming from Canada this time of year. There is a large Mexican influence which ads to the experience. Cactus, desert and great weather! I was there for work and very busy; I would stay and see more of Phoenix and Arizona if I had a chance.
Sedona a jewel set in the crown of Arizona. We had wonderful views from the Sky Ranch Lodge of the Coffee Pot Rock during sunset. The town has a very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of restaurants and cafe.
An ideal place if you are interested in Route 66. Plenty of places to eat for a small town. Bearizona is worth a visit just 5 mins from centre of town and reasonably priced.
Winter go to see The Duttons perform at the high school. Rest of the year they perform at Branson, MO. Family friendly show. Exciting fun variety performance. Amazing. They love military families. God bless America. Also webt to Superstition mountain. Old west museum, church from Elvis movie. Excellent walking around old west area with gift shops. Go to Mesa, Arizona for good old fashioned family fun. Hikers love area of superstition mountain. Great for mobility impaired and mountain climbers hikers too. Fun place, very surprising. Definitely go to THE DUTTONS
It was a nice apartment feeling and the breakfast was ok. I loved it was across the street from the Arizona Mills mall and nearby the hole in a rock and other stuff. I actually love the place and would book here again and may even in the future use this place as a temporary apartment. It was close to the hole in the rock and phoenix zoo. Also food places were close by if you don't know how to drive and didnt feel like spending a pretty penny to get food. Great place for a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Very quiet and relaxing.
We are a german american family that makes regular trips to Arizona and when we visit family up north, we stay here! It's not luxurious, but it absolutely has everything one needs. It really is a great place for a night. The service is impeccable (Ian, keep up the great work!), the location is optimal and the kids love the pool. Additionally, we enjoy the comfy beds! I can also highly recommend the restaurant across the street, next to the gas station. I will always come back here when we are passing through Flagstaff.
The location of the hotel is excellent for access to Arizona State University. The room was large, as were the bathroom, living area and kitchen. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The light rail runs right outside, and the benefit is that if you are fit and healthy, it costs only a few dollars to get from Sky Harbour to the hotel. I took a taxi, and that was $70, but after a long intercontinental flight, I just wanted to get there. Uber would have been cheaper
This was our first night in Arizona (from England). We loved it, after a long journey the view was restful, there are multiple pools so you can watch the sun set and rise from the water. If feels like the hotel has thought of everything, there's different spaces to relax in, food can be ordered almost anywhere. The staff were really friendly - gave great tips on what to do locally as we sat enjoying cocktails listening to live music. Would stay again and again.
It is a friendly and creative hotel close to the Arizona State University and at less than 1 mile from Tempe downtown, but there is a free tramway taking you there in few minutes. It is expressely oriented towards inclusion and against any discrimination of races, countries and sexual orientations. It has in the common lot fine decorations, interesting books and a fantastic swimming pool. The rooms are well equipped and artistically arranged.
The hotel itself is in a great location, right off the interstate and parking lot adjacent to the Arizona Mills Mall that is huge and has plenty of shopping, food choices, a movie theater, an aquarium, a Legoland Discovery Center and even a Rainforest Cafe. The King room we had was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable! Most importantly everything was clean.
This hotel location was great. 5 minute drive to the Phoenix Zoo. Thirty minute drive to arizona game and fish expo, which happens in March . The staff were very nice. All the facilities were clean. Our room was very clean. The parking lot was very well lit and safe for vehicles to park. The free complimentary breakfast in the morning was very great and convenient.
In Tucson, there are many decent hotels at very reasonable prices, and this hotel is one of them. The facilities, services, and cleanliness were impeccable. The parking lot was excellent, providing ample shade to prevent my car from overheating in the intense Arizona heat. Additionally, having a Starbucks on the first floor truly brightened my mornings.
Williams
Location and price were the key factors for us; we visited to the Grand Canyon early the next day. that said, we loved the style of the Hotel, which fitted well in this Arizona town. An experience we will never forget. We arrived late, so we were grateful for the clear instructions to get into our room, which was nice and warm.
Downtown Phoenix, Phoenix
I recently stayed at this property and had a nice overall experience. The location is fantastic—close to everything I needed—and the apartment itself was cute and easy to access. It had a cozy atmosphere that made the stay pleasant and comfortable for the most part. The space had potential to be a great getaway spot in Arizona.
Scottsdale
Water amenities and slides...I thought it was way overpriced...$600/ night plus parking fee Should not charge for parking with all the space you have there I think this is very greedy on hotels owners to charge $600 a night in Arizona or other great brands of hotels are charging $200 a night
Great location with access to the Valley Metro. The hotel gave me passes to the metro to attend the Arizona Diamondbacks game at Chase Field. The rooms are so cute - we loved the art and decor….and the sink that was both in and out of the shower (you have to see this to understand it)
Tempe
Nice cold pool lol. The area around the pool was very nice. Lots of students due to ASU. Locating fob was no problem. Washer and dryer were really large. Location great streetcar right outside. Lots of nice restaurants. Bed was comfortable. The Arizona room on the 9th floor was great.
Hotel is located near grills and bars. Its just around 10 USD by Uber to Arizona Mills and another 10 mins to the premium outlets. It's better to have the breakfast option cos you can choose anything from the breakfast menu. Weekend brekky is amazing - don't miss it!
Very polite and helpful hotel staff, spacious and clean room, small but very comfortable balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains and desert surrounding the hotel, clean and well-appointed hotel pool, the character of Arizona reflected in every piece of this facility
The hotel was really clean and pretty, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, the beds were really comfortable and the personnel was really kind. Even though the hotel was a little far a way from Phoenix, we were able to get to know it and how breathtaking Arizona is.
Tucson
Everything , I can not express enough the hospitality, the cleanliness, the grounds everything was fantastic! I was coming off a 3 week vacation and stayed at a lot of hotels/resorts in Arizona as we saw the whole state and this by far was the best !’
Very good hotel to spend your night(s) when travelling in Arizona/Utah. Comfortable rooms and good location. Breakfast is what you would expect from typical american hotels/motels: eggs, sausages, potatoes, pancakes, bread, toasts, jams,...
Only having briefly visited Scottsdale on a previous visit Arizona, we wanted to return and see what the area was actually like. We were not disappointed, the hotel was incredible, from check in, to the roof top pool the entire stay was magnificent.
Williams
The motel is centrally located in the downtown shopping / tourist district! We walked to shops and restaurants sites. William is by far the best town on the historic Route 66 and the 9 Arizona Motor Hotel is the best located hotel in the town!
