Song of Travel Hostel ligger i Nyaung Shwe, 1 km från Mingala-marknaden och 5 minuters promenad från Nyaung Shwe busstation. Här finns en takterrass med lounge där du kan njuta av cocktails. I loved being treated like family at SOT - from the messages I exchanged with Fiona the owner, to the care and help to book bus tickets, a boat trip and a private driver to the hotpools and Kalaw. Shwe the manager is super friendly and helpful, along with the whole staff there. The food was great, alot of Korean meals. I must have eaten half my meals there! I also ate local breakfasts thanks to Shwe, which I loved. My dorm bed was super clean and spacious - bathrooms are clean and plentiful. Love the rooftop which catches beautiful sunrises and sunsets, cool breezes and great views. Free bikes allowed me to roam Nyaung Shwe easily. There's the Red Mountain winery nearby, which has great views and a stunning sunset. Jesu ba for a wonderful first time visit to Inle! I will be back in July with my son and 2 friends!

Villa Inle Resort & Spa ligger i den östra delen av sjön Inle Lake, nära byn Maing Tauk. Här erbjuds villor i trä i Myanmar-stil med utsikt över sjön. I had such a lovely time there. The facilities are first rate and the staff is amazing. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. They put every effort into doing whatever was necessary to make my stay perfect. I was there kind of off season, so the spa was closed, but I wanted services, so they had someone come in for me. I had an amazing massage. The room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable, and I loved the shower. Breakfast was quite yummy and they had rooms service for other meals also. The boatman they had for my lake tour really took me all over the lake. The prices were reasonable, so I could relax and just enjoy the lovely place and not stress about anything.
