Interesting city, with a lot of things to visit and explore (especially the old part of the city and the city walls). Also, the Kotor bay is wonderful! The "beach" part is interesting... but from what I saw.... the bay offers good conditions for having a great time with friends in the water.
The Kotor Bay makes for a great holiday. Clear waters, great food, awesome historical buildings and really good service. We went each day to a different spot to enjoy the water. The bay is far less crowded than Budva and looks better, too. You don't get sandy beaches, but you get used to sunbathing on pontoon bridges. Great places for cliff diving, too! Don't forget to bring snorkeling equipment!
A beautiful place where you can have a nice, restful holiday. Great food and excellent prices! You can easily fall inlive with the old town and the amazing waters of the Kotor bay.
Kotor is a open air museum. The pearl of Kotor Bay, the Adriatic Fjord has it all except beaches. Emerald water, mountains, history, architecture, nightlife. It will remain forever in every visitor's hearts. I can guarantee you. It is a must visit in one's lifetime. Also add friendly and helpful people, well spoken English and you have a great destination for your vacation.

Nice quiet place to stay if you have a car to visit Kotor Bay and all surroundings. Not to much to do except going to the beach. There are only 3-4 restaurants in Risan. Nice pizza and burek at Hypnos Restaurant. Beautiful Roman Mosaic near Hospital.
The Kotor bay it's is extraordinary summer destination. Herceg-Novi and Kotor are very beautiful historical cities, the sea and the landscape are unbelievable. The food are very tasty and cheap and the roads in very good conditions. The combination between mount and sea is perfect.
Herceg-Novi is the perfect location for exploring the Kotor Bay and surrounding.
Sitting in Kotor Bay we had the posibility to visit all around: Mount Lovcen and Mausoleum, Tivat, Budva, Lake Skadar,all the villages around the golf, church Gospa od Skrpeljia, many other churches, traditional restaurants, Herceg Novi, Porte Montenegro ( luxury resort),Dubrovnik in Croatia. The weather was fine, raining in the night but sunny all day, about 19 Celsius degrees. There were a lot of cruises every day with a lot of turists in Kotor so the medieval city was crowdy. Wonderful atmosphere! Recomand Verige restaurant for the view, eat and drink, Velji Mlini,Tanjiga Grill, Bokerki Dvori... For sure you need a car to visit everything and you can rent.About 35 euros a day.
