The premises are immaculately clean. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel reception was courteous and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great. They offered a nice complimentary breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel is also nicely located next to shops and restaurants. The night market is a short 10 minute walk. The hotel can also help with tours and transportation back to the airport. I would most definitely stay again.

After weeks of 'normal' backpacking hotel we chose Madilao for a little more comfort. It was the best thing that we could have done to chill and relax. We also loved to be a little out of the centre of Luang Prabang (amazing city by the way). Madilao is such a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed every minute of being there. It looks very amazing, the rooms are big and comfortable and the personal is super friendly and took care of all of our request accordingly. A huge thank you to the Madilao hotel and all her staff.

Many nice cafes around, and I just enjoyed walking around at night when all restaurants and night market are opening up. I like how close everything is. The guy at reception is very sweet. He booked for me Kuang Si waterfalls tour and airport transfer as well. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to all travelers visiting Luang Prabang.
