The Riviera Champasak features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Champasak. This 3-star hotel offers room service and free WiFi. The restaurant area was beautiful with good food, overlooking the Mekong and a lovely garden area. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. We hired a motorbike to go to Wat Phou and got a ferry from the hotel’s jetty across the river to catch the Green paradise bus to Si Phan Don. The staff were superbly helpful.

Residence Bassac in Champasak has a garden and a bar. This 4-star hotel features modernized French Colonial architecture, a concierge service and free WiFi. There is a restaurant. Wow! What a perfect stay. I loved it at Residence Bassac. Recently refurbed the place glows with care and is spotless. I couldn’t decide at first on a double with river view or the two story with balcony and was very happy with the later. Super spacious with a great layout and furnishings. AC is strong and lots of great little touches including turn down service. The staff were very helpful and friendly, arranging a scooter, tuktuks and airport taxis. The restaurant has a beautiful open setting to the street and river. And best of all Vat Phou is about 20mins away. I’d gladly stay again, sad to go!

Located in Pakse, 500 metres from International bus station KM 2, Heaven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Had a very nice time here at the guesthouse. Great way to truly experience Pakse. Spent afternoons in the ac room. Could walk to town center or tuktuk. Tina was fun to talk with and hung out with her and some of her friends one of the nights and felt very welcome. Will return!

Situated in Pakse, 200 metres from Champasak Historical Heritage Museum, Nakhone Champa Hotel features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Perfect location of the hotel at the main road in the city. It is very close to the central Pakse market and in a walking distance from the new supermarket. I really liked the size of my room. Everything was nicely clean and spacius. Also there was no noice or any other distractions. We even had a lounge area with a large sofa to sit on. Bathroom is also large. I enjoyed a walk-in shower with strong shower head - something that is still not a standard in SE Asia. I also liked the services that the front desk provided and their friendliness. They organised a motorbike rental and they took us to the bus station when we were leaving. Accepting credit cards was like a cherry on top!

Situated in Pakse, 1.2 km from Wat Luang, Intouch Riverside Hotel features views of the city. After roughing it a bit at Si Phan, this place seemed quite luxurious. Nice rooftop pool, good breakfast, good size room with view of the Mekong, extremely clean, huge bed! The staff were very pleasant. The roadworks that a few reviews mentioned didn't bother us at all. Local dining options are limited, but for Thai Lao fusion food, head out the hotel front door and turn left and then take the first left street. Walk approx 100 or so metres to just beyond the 2 zebra crossings and on the right is Cham Pahom Restaurant. From the outside it looks a bit rough but it's actually very interesting and quirky on the inside, full of antiques and curios. The food is excellent and inexpensive, ice cold beer. Run by an interesting Thai bloke with great staff.

Matatagpuan sa Pakse, 1 km ang layo mula sa International bus station KM 2, nagtatampok ang Le Jardin Hotel ng year-round outdoor pool at spa center. This place is run by one of the most hospitality friendly guy we ever met, his name is Wadu.....and he takes care of everything. You can ask him every question you have and he sort it out for you. The hotel is very clean and has a nice pool to cool of after a hot day. Also you can pay with several cards and need no piles of cash for you stay. The only minor thing is that the location is a bit far from the center but every evening they provide a free ride to the center and back to the hotel. We can stronly reconmend this place in Pakse.

Offering a restaurant, Pakse Hotel is set in a former cinema and casino, which is located 3 km from Pakse International Airport. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Very friendly staff, good location close to everything also the bus station from where we took the night bus to Vientiane. Only a few metres down the road there is a good and effective travel agent who helped us with bus tickets and a day trip to Wat Phu.

Sala Done Khone Hotel is a 40-minute drive from Khonephapheng Waterfall. Offering modern accommodation, the hotel features a tour desk, pool and shuttle service. Don Khone is the place to be, if you're trying to decide. we almost stayed in Don Det, and I am so glad I spent a bit extra and came here. The village is lovely, the whole island is really nice to bike around, and Sala Done Khone is lovely. The AC works very well, the floating studios are lovely, and the breakfast is great and large. The other meals are also good at the restaurant, or there are plenty of options close by. They provide everything you need and the beds are super comfy! Thanks very much for a lovely stay. We didn't want to leave.

Champasak Grand Hotel is a 15-minute ride from Pakse Airport. Offering comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi, it has an outdoor pool, which is surrounded by lush tropical garden. You won't find better value for money anywhere in the world. 39 euro for a room and nice breakfast for 2 included. It's insane. Staff friendly and smiling, they like working here so I even think it's a nice owner.
