Set in Champasak, 33 km from Champasak Stadium, Nakorn River View offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The 3 of us stayed in 2 units- one was the 2 bedroom apartment with a private deck and a hammock overlooking the Mekong where we spent most of our time.The other unit was close by and perfect for our friend.The apartment is great for a couple or a family and was very relaxing, clean and comfortable. The owners and the staff were wonderful.The food and variety of options were amazing..We stayed for 4 nights and other than a memorable visit to Wat Phou we decided to just hang around Champasak and enjoy Nakorn River View. It was a good decision!

The Riviera Champasak features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Champasak. This 3-star hotel offers room service and free WiFi. The restaurant area was beautiful with good food, overlooking the Mekong and a lovely garden area. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. We hired a motorbike to go to Wat Phou and got a ferry from the hotel’s jetty across the river to catch the Green paradise bus to Si Phan Don. The staff were superbly helpful.

Residence Bassac in Champasak has a garden and a bar. This 4-star hotel features modernized French Colonial architecture, a concierge service and free WiFi. There is a restaurant. Wow! What a perfect stay. I loved it at Residence Bassac. Recently refurbed the place glows with care and is spotless. I couldn’t decide at first on a double with river view or the two story with balcony and was very happy with the later. Super spacious with a great layout and furnishings. AC is strong and lots of great little touches including turn down service. The staff were very helpful and friendly, arranging a scooter, tuktuks and airport taxis. The restaurant has a beautiful open setting to the street and river. And best of all Vat Phou is about 20mins away. I’d gladly stay again, sad to go!

Located in Pakse, 500 metres from International bus station KM 2, Heaven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Tina was fantastic, when the A/C in our room wasn’t working she quickly moved us to another room. She also arranged a tuk tuk to her recommended dentist when one of us had a dental emergency. Also, Tina helped us to print out our E-visas for Cambodia. Our friends also rented mopeds through the property and said the service was great.

Situated in Pakse, 1.2 km from Wat Luang, Intouch Riverside Hotel features views of the city. The hotel was a great deal for the price. The breakfast was excellent… lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to town… we used the roof top pool everyday. It was modern, clean and spacious with great staff. One of the best deals for a hotel we have had. We really liked this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is a blessing during hot Laos days.

Offering a restaurant, Pakse Hotel is set in a former cinema and casino, which is located 3 km from Pakse International Airport. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Very friendly staff, good location close to everything also the bus station from where we took the night bus to Vientiane. Only a few metres down the road there is a good and effective travel agent who helped us with bus tickets and a day trip to Wat Phu.

Sala Done Khone Hotel is a 40-minute drive from Khonephapheng Waterfall. Offering modern accommodation, the hotel features a tour desk, pool and shuttle service. Don Khone is the place to be, if you're trying to decide. we almost stayed in Don Det, and I am so glad I spent a bit extra and came here. The village is lovely, the whole island is really nice to bike around, and Sala Done Khone is lovely. The AC works very well, the floating studios are lovely, and the breakfast is great and large. The other meals are also good at the restaurant, or there are plenty of options close by. They provide everything you need and the beds are super comfy! Thanks very much for a lovely stay. We didn't want to leave.

You won't find better value for money anywhere in the world. 39 euro for a room and nice breakfast for 2 included. It's insane. Staff friendly and smiling, they like working here so I even think it's a nice owner.
