Given that a lot of safari’s begin there, I think Nairobi is fine. You have to be in the right neighborhoods. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone that hasn’t done some research into the city prior to their arrival. I think People should know what to expect.
Nairobi was my jumping off point for the Masai Mara which an incredible experience. For a gastronomic experience try the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi. They will feed you beef ribs, pork ribs, ostrich, crocodile, chicken and other meats until you lower the flag on your table in “defeat”, along with soup, salad, dessert and the beverage of your choice. If you leave hungry it’s YOUR faculty.
Nairobi is a crowded city with no night life & not safe to walk alone after dark. Nairobi has very little entertainment options & would be very boring for visitors coming for vacations. People in touristic places will try to abuse as much as they can. Wouldn’t recommend for tourism.
It's a great place to be for a couple of days to do some quick visits of parks like elephant orphanage centre and giraffespark and Nairobi national park. Transport is really easy because of the helpfull people. Transport can take long because of all the traffic jams. Downside there's not a nice city centre to hangout.
Nairobi is a really nice city with a lot to see and experience. The national park and Massi Mara was the highlight of the trip especially if you love wildlife. The restaurants and places to eat Indian food are absolutely fantastic and tasty. The drinks are priced up averagely and the selection of food from different cuisines is really good as well as they taste just as you expect
Nairobi is very nice. You can eat at Three Dee Restaurant, mama Ashanti Restaurant. It is easy to get around with Uber application.
I like Nairobi very much, there is a lot of cool stuff happening in this city especially in the tech and creative scenes. I hope to live here one day!
Nairobi has a very nice weather and quite green. I didn't get much time to explore the entire city but have heard it has got good Indian restaurants. Got a chance to visit 1 Indian restaurant which was very good!!
Nairobi is a great city.people are friendly and very helpful. The restraunts have very delicious meals that are affordable and also great malls like carrefour where shopping is quite easy. The wild animals in the parks are just breath taking. The party people get covered too with the great clubs and beautiful scenes at night
All in all Nairobi is a hub to many companies. The government should monitor it's law enforcing officers( Police ) not to haras people. It is a really disappointment that they are corrupt. One need to visit Fogo Goucho a Brazilian steak house at Westlands.
