Lago Resort is located in a very beautiful peaceful area on a hill with an incredibly nice view over whole Kisumu and the lake. I first booked 3 nighs, but I liked it so much that I stayed for 1 whole week. The owner, Mr. Daniel, is really very friendly and he knows a lot about many things. I enjoyed talking with him. He is also a very good cook and makes delicious food! Also the room and the bed are very comfortable and cleaned daily. My stay here was the best in Kenya and I would love to come back one day!!

My stay at prime Nomads was wonderful. It’s located on a peaceful area. It was a tranquil time for me and my partner to rest and break away from our busy schedules. The check in was pretty much quick as everything was already prepared before our arrival. Charles took us through everything in the apartment and ensured we had everything needed. The staff members were also very kind and helpful. The morning breakfast came in In in a timely manner. I will surely be staying here whenever I will be in kisumu.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! The level of comfort in the apartment is beyond exceptional, and I appreciated how spacious and clean it was. The apartment had all the necessities, and the host, always a phone call away in case of anything, offered a wonderful welcome. I have found my home away from home while in Kisumu, and I highly encourage others to give this space a try while in town. The compound is quiet and serene, which I greatly appreciate. I can't wait to come back!

Annodas is an outstanding place to reside while in Kisumu, with a friendly budget. It is not your typical hotel set up. The facility is quiet, and located in the beautiful and quiet, Milimani area, not so far from the city centre. Good for cycling or casual walks.  Antonette welcomed me and was super helpful throughout my stay. very quiet hotel outside of Kisumu, near Crocodiles which you can observe from the room. breakfast in the morning in front of the room. room are spacious and bed is huge with mosquito net. hot water and staff very kind, available and helpful. very good price for the quality of the place ! it is a bit far from the city center but the neighborhood is really nice, in the nature near some small villages and a big market.

The Suites are well located just as you enter into Kisumu town. The Google maps does not get your there accurately, so good to keep the number of the hotel handy. The Restuarant service was great, the sitting area good and the food was also great. They have a lovely breakfast that one should not miss. Also great is that it is available quite early in the morning - by 6am, which is convenient if you wish to depart early.

The ambience and serenity is what I've been looking for in Kisumu. The food was delicious, thefacility was clean. The staff are warm and welcoming 🙏. Top notch gardens and privacy. I felt like in paradise. Guaranteed water supply from the borehole and all round power supply from the generator whenever kenya power went off was a plus. I look forward to visiting again and again. Set in a quiet rural location 20 min from Kisumu the Ciala provides a safe tranqil oasis. The rooms are located amongst well tended gardens and where spacious and clean. The staff were both happy and effecient. There is a bar eating area by the pool , play equipement for kids as well as a more formal resturant and funtion rooms . Certainly the best place I have stayed at in Kenya in the last 10 years.

This is an excellent hotel all round: the food is good, customised to the needs of its clients; the beds are super comfy while the showers are great. The staff is both welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kisumu

Friendly staff. clean and comfortable room. It was nice there. We will book again if we are in Kisumu. The fee for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel is expensive but very safe and everybody should do if you are first time in Kenya.

For my next holiday in Kisumu I will visit the same apartments again and again will recommend it 👌 Very near to the town centre. Security very tight.House keeping Maggie and Frank were very friendly.

Very charmful hotel with tasteful decor, like an oasis in the middle of Kisumu. Very quiet area, excellent breakfast and food, beautiful pool area with plants from a fairyland. The staff is very nice.
