We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! 🙂 The location is close to the port, so it’s a bit further from the beach, but the hotel provides convenient transportation to the island’s two main beaches. Shuttles run multiple times a day—just let them know when you’d like to go, and they’ll arrange it for you. The hotel restaurant is absolutely amazing, and it is actually the best we tried on the island! The food was fantastic, with also delicious vegetarian options on my request, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, heard, and that we dont miss anything. They were incredibly friendly and helpful ❤️ As for the rooms, everything was spotless, clean, and the hotel seems to be new.

Located in Zamami and within a few steps of Ama Beach, Dining & Stay 38 Miyahira features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Very clean and tidy property, immediately next to beautiful AMA beach where you can see green sea turtles, coral reefs and colourful fish. The owners are very kind and we enjoyed chatting with them as well as the delicious food Miyahira san prepared for breakfast and dinner. We are giving 10/10 for this stay and looking forward to be back!

Located in Zamami, a 9-minute walk from Yuhina Beach, ケラマブルーリゾート provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. I had the most wonderful stay! The hotel itself is really lovely, with clean spacious rooms with gorgeous views overlooking the water. I was there as a solo traveller during the off-season and felt incredibly well taken care of. All the staff are so kind, friendly and thoughtful. Unfortunately I don't speak Japanese, but one of the staff members speaks English and was very helpful for organising logistics. The hotel restaurant was closed for the Winter, but the hotel has regular shuttle buses to take you to and from the main port where the restaurants and beaches are (note it is a decent walk to the main port, probably 20 minutes over the hill, pleasant in November but I could imagine it would be more taxing in the heat). I was also able to book an amazing snorkelling tour through the hotel. After check-out, the staff were also kind enough to hold my luggage and drop it off at the port before the ferry departed, so I could spend the day at the beach without my suitcase! There is also car and e-bike hire available for reasonable prices. Being there in the off-season when a lot of the tourist services were closed, it was so helpful staying somewhere where I felt all my needs were taken care of. The included traditional Japanese breakfast was also DELICIOUS and very generous! I would highly recommend it!

Located in Tokashiki, a few steps from Tokashiku Beach, Tokashiku Marine Villege provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Beautiful location, right on the beach. We snorkelled off the beach and followed 2 sea turtles around. They have all the snorkelling gear for hire including wetsuits. The STAFF are AMAZING , so helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience. I can’t thank them enough. Also Included in the price is breakfast and dinner, it’s called half board. The food was pretty good, there are no other restaurants around the area. They have a bus that takes you to Aharen Beach, which is the other beautiful beach on the island. A pick up and drop you service is available to meet you from the ferrys at the port.

We had an unforgettable time at the hotel. The hotel itself is very modern and the equipment is of highest standard. The hotel is located very close to the harbor and both Ama Beach and Furuzamami beach can be reached within a 20 minutes walk or by the local bus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and probably the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. There were also very child friendly and prepared to host our kids. We will never forget our time at the hotel.

A stunning beach with an uninhabited Island is within a few minutes walking distance, excellent store close by, staff are friendly, free shuttle service that runs to the port, and back, just look for the blue see friend bus and get on it, it is always there after the ferry arrives the pension is old and charming, fridge and electric kettle are provided, kayak and gear hire are there, the pension is the only place on the island where I found I could hire a kayak as a solo traveler, the rest seemed to be tour only. Maybe there are other places as well. Overall a friendly pension on a friendly island
