The house, the host, and our whole experience there was superlative. I had 2 bookings, first for one night and then for 3 more nights. I left a more detailed review on my first booking.

My husband and I had a great stay at Tokashiku Marine Village! The staff were very friendly and helpful - they had a shuttle to pick us and others up from the ferry in Tokashiki port, and then also drove just the two of us to Aharen port the day we checked out, and allowed us to check out late because our ferry wasn’t until 4:05pm. There were shuttles that they ran to Aharen beach twice a day upon reservation. The view at Tokashiku was absolutely gorgeous and it’s nice and quiet. One of the best parts is the amazing food they provide. They serve breakfast and dinner buffet style, often with Japanese food and dishes from other cultures. The breakfast is probably the most sumptuous breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel, and their dinner was outstanding 2 out of 3 nights we stayed there, with the other still quite good. They had a laundry room with good working washers and dryers, and they also had laundry lines in the courtyard for swimsuits. They had showers for when you come back from the beach. There is a little convenience store for drinks, snacks and other essentials. The facilities weren’t fancy but met all our needs. Overall we had a great stay and would go back again.

I always fear giving recommendations for our favorite little hotel because I don't want it to become too popular! The owners are amazing, and the stay is always comfortable with beautiful views and delicious breakfast and dinner included. We stay at Blue Suites once or twice a year to have a getaway and enjoy the diving and nature on Akajima.

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, driving us from the ferry and to Ahren beach. We could rent snorkeling equipment for a low price and do laundry for free. Plenty of restaurants or grocery within walking distance. I met cool people here and hope to visit again.
