Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station. It’s walking distance to the Disney resort line, the rooms are spacious compared to the hotels in the city area. Beds were comfy, the room has a refrigerator and there’s a Lawson at the Hilton which is right beside. There’s also an airport shuttle you can take to Haneda or Narita.

From the moment we got there to when we left, the staff made sure our stay there was nothing but relaxing. The facilities and private open air bath included with the rooms were clean and beyond my expectations.

Staff was exceedingly friendly and caring, even checking multiple times if everything was alright with the room and the meals. The meals themselves were very nice, varied and delicious. The dinner had a large amount of meat for Japanese standards, which was nice. You can reserve the bath in advance for an hour, which is great. The bath itself is very hot and relaxing, I enjoyed it a lot. If I am ever back in Kamogawa, I will be coming back here.

I loved the location and how convenient it was to public transportation. I also loved the variety of restaurants, stunning views of Chiba, and the Tokyo bay, and close to a variety of shopping outlets. I loved the spa/sauna, which is a great way to start and end your day. The rooms were decent sized and comfortable. The staff were very professional and helpful! Despite the hotel being on the further end of Chiba, it has a shuttle bus for a small fee that can take you to and from any of the big airports, which is very convenient.

Breakfast was a lovely highlight of the stay, adding a pleasant start to the day.
The hotel is really easy to find from Chiba Station. Before our arrival the host sent us a guide on how to get there, the check in information, and the check in was really smooth. The room is pretty cozy, clean, and very great for my family. The bed was clean and quite comfortable. The host is also helpful and if you have any questions, just text them and they will reply shortly after. The price is very reasonable as well.
Funabashi
Located about 25 min walk from Funabashi JR station in a residential area. (long walk if you have suitcases) Modern house with guest rooms on 2nd floor and family downstairs. Bathroom and toilet are clean and modern. Rooms are Japanese style with own aircon and TV. Host was kind and receptive. Lawson and drugstore nearby. Great value for 1 or 2 nights in Chiba area.

Great value for money, big room, big bed, really nice bathroom with waterfall shower and big tub. Free skincare products on reception and bottled water in your room. Staff were really kind and helpful. Right next to Chiba Chuo station for train and monorail. The nicest business hotel I've stayed in so far in Japan!
Chiba
We loved our stay. Clean tidy apartment. About a 10-15 minute walk from Ho-Chiba train station. 7/11 was 5 minutes walk around the corner. Very close to local restaurants. Apartment had everything you'd need for a short stay. Washing machine, microwave, kettle, rice cooker and fridge/freezer.
Great location for everything. Lots of restaurants and shopping all around the hotel, easy to walk to JR Chiba station and everywhere. Room was spacious, clean and convenience store was right by the hotel entrance and Haneda airport bus stop was right beside the hotel and so convinrent.
Kamogawa
A whole apartment with two tatami rooms and a small kitchen. Sea view. Handy Chinese restaurant downstairs. The Lawson next door. Attractive traditional Japanese interior. Good location to explore the lakes and mountains of the Chiba inland area.
Location was great. Very near the station. Room was big. View facing the sea was great. The hotel looks a tad rundown but was still acceptable. Breakfast was average. The hotel was worth the price. I will stay again if i come to Chiba.

The room was clean. The hotel is located near the Chiba Chuo station and around 30mins from Narita airport. It's also near a shopping plaza where you can easily find places to eat. I love their Japanese style breakfast.
The property is extremely close to Chiba Station and has many shops and restaurants to choose from. Excellent hotel located next to a relaxing park so you can get some fresh air before heading out for the day.
Location was near the train station - Keisei Chuo Chiba (only 5 mins walk) and the hotel was next to Lawson (convenient store). The room was spacious comparing to average Japanese budget hotel
Close to Chiba station but when I used Google for the first time it took me to the back entrance and it was so much farther away so be aware of that. Everything else was great.

The staff was accommodating in all respects. However, it would be desirable for someone to speak English. The location is superb, just a second walk from Narita Station, within walkable distance of Narita Park and Temple and all nearby locations are excellent.
