The capsule room was comfortable, came with an outlet, a place to put my phone, and a nice little TV and light. The spa was very nice, and the bath was very relaxing.

One woman receptionist was polite and nice. The others were just laid back.

Funabashi is a perfect slice of genuine Japan. The people there were so kind, and it was a perfect place to see what the lives of the Japanese people are really like. It didn't feel sterilized and curated, it felt genuine.
I met the most amazing people on earth there, and it was a joy to wander through the narrow streets of Funabashi seeing different aspects of their culture and city. The people there were very kind and helpful, so if I was ever lost or just wanted to talk it was not hard to find someone who would help.
The Funabashi Daijingu felt very spiritual to me, and I truly believe it is a holy place. I was awestruck, and was moved to tears.
There were lots of places to eat the local dishes, even an Okinawa-style Izakaya which is my favorite place on earth. If you go there tell the bartender Teddy says hi!
