One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had so far in Japan. The room was absolutely stunning, the bed super comfortable, the bath and shower really spacious and clean. The onset was great, lots of great amenities. Staff was absolutely amazing, extremely welcoming and helpful. Area was superb. Lots of great shops around plus close walking distance to the temple.

Staff was exceedingly friendly and caring, even checking multiple times if everything was alright with the room and the meals. The meals themselves were very nice, varied and delicious. The dinner had a large amount of meat for Japanese standards, which was nice. You can reserve the bath in advance for an hour, which is great. The bath itself is very hot and relaxing, I enjoyed it a lot. If I am ever back in Kamogawa, I will be coming back here.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station. This hotel was phenomenal! Probably the best I’ve ever stayed at. The breakfast buffet was really nice, on our Disney day we lined up a little before 6:30 so we could get in quickly, eat, and then head out to line up for Disney. We got rooms on the bay side, which had a nice view of the Ferris wheel, Tokyo Sky Tree, and on one day it was even clear enough to see Mt. Fuji! There is a shuttle bus that runs to the resort station if you have a lot of bags. The inside of the hotel is gorgeous and there’s a couple of stores with Disney items for sale. There is also a small convenience store stocking any items you may need. We were able to buy umbrellas there because it rained on the day we went to Disney. One small point, there didn’t seem to be any coin laundry machines (understandable due to the amount of guests), but there was a paid laundry service and dry cleaning. This location is cheaper than the official Disney hotels but the quality is very high. I will stay here again on future visits.

I also lost my phone in a taxi and I informed the staff. The staff was extremely helpful trying to help me locate my phone and I am extremely greatful for the help. Luckily my phone was at the police station, but the staffs commitment to provide great customer service was really amazing. Highly recommend staying here!
