The rooms were very clean, modern, well designed and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options. The staff was friendly and virtuous. The location was remote and excellent for northern light watching.

Hotel Stafholt has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Borgarnes. At the hotel, all rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. It is located in a central area with low tourism activity, which is suitable for an extended stay. We stayed a week. We wanted solitude with access to hikes, mountains, highlands, waterfalls and glaciers, and we got it. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
