But we found exactly what we are looking for - a place to chill and relax, after 10 days in other, busier parts of Bali. The hotel ground is so well maintained, the lobby and restaurant is beautiful, and the rooms are decorated with lovely Balinese crafts. A lot of thoughts and efforts went into keeping this place so perfect! The hotel restaurant also has delicious food and drinks. The hotel has two pools, and offers free snorkeling tools, kayak and paddle boarding. Bring your own snorkeling gears (they have a limited selection of sizes) if you want a super snorkel session right off the ocean in front - corals and fish, great visibility. The manager Catherine and all the staff were super friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you so much! I couldn’t recommend more this hotel to families and couples who want a beautiful, relaxing beach holiday in Bali!

This is a beautiful property, it’s a bit far from the main town, but that makes it a little quieter. The breakfast was delicious. That is the only meal they serve at this resort. There are other restaurants nearby. It is a little tricky walking on the roads But Manageable . We only stayed for one night, but it was so lovely. I would’ve loved to of stayed for two.

A very charming, comfortable and quiet place to stay in Amed. We had a nice, large and very clean room with a super comfortable bed. Excellent air conditioning and hot water. Putu and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. They took very good care of us. They also serve food and drinks onsite. Our room was right beside the pool. The homestay is well maintained. I also LOVED how quiet and peaceful it was. Far enough away from the sounds of traffic and other activities on the streets. I really appreciated the comfort, kindness and quality of this place. Looking forward to coming back again next time! 5 stars!!!

The family that own and run River Island went to great lengths to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It is set in beautiful natural surroundings right on the river which we swam in every day. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very fresh. We were sad to leave and are already looking forward to our next stay.
