Such a nice place with a beautiful green garden and cozy, clean and comfortable cottages. The staff was very friendly and de location is great, as it is both quiet and close to the main road of Amed. We stayed for four days with our daughter (4 yrs) who loved to play in this beautiful and safe environment (with a few free roaming bunnies). Very recommended (with or without kids).

Amed was a fun place to visit. We enjoyed the snorkeling a lot. The food was fantastic, especially the tropical fruit, fresh fish with coconut sauce, and "satay lilit", a dish we had never eaten before. (Blue Star, Warung Amsha, Rimba Cafe, and Villa Tradisi were all great!) Most of Amed now has a sidewalk, which makes it a lot easier to walk through town. Otherwise, it can feel a little dangerous to walk along the narrow, busy road. It's also possible to walk along the entire beach at lower tides, but it's pretty rocky in a lot of places. The things I didn't like so much were the many taxi drivers asking us if we needed a ride and the roaming salespeople trying to sell their wares while we were eating.

Amed is a much nicer part of Bali than I usually visit.
Amed is a much nicer part of Bali than I usually visit. Currently living at Uluwatu and have stayed at Canngu and Seminyak before. All are being overrun by tourists (yes, like me) and are starting to price themselves out over other SE Asian countries. Amed was a beautiful little spot with everything you need. The sea life was incredible, anyone who goes should organise snorkelling or diving, which Amed is known for. I was lucky enough to find a good driver who took me into his local village and showed me some sights. Experiences I will never forget and will remember fondly.

Fabulous place if you like to get out of the rat race of Seminyak and Kuta etc. Fewer tourists great snorkeling/diving, lipah beach being amazing. Great to jump on a Scooter and go thought the little villages, we delivered soccer balls to a couple of local school which was a lovely experience.

We planned to stay in Amed for two nights and ended up staying for a week. It was amazing and everyday we had a new adventure. We loved the snorkelling and fishing, but mostly we loved meeting the local people and getting to know them and learn more about Indonesian culture.

I liked this hotel (Amed Dream Ibus Beach), the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help where possible ie finding me some fins for snorkelling. The room was perfect for what I needed with an amazing view, superb for the sunrise in the morning for photographers like myself. Two infinity swimming pools lay below and continuing down the steps brings you to the Spa and beach. The only downside of this hotel is the food could have been better, especially the breakfast which was quite bland.
I hired a scooter from a local company which was a blessing though the road leading to the hotel is very poor with potholes - no fault to the hotel. There are a number of local amenities close by including Sunset Point Beach Club and various good restaurants. Venturing further into Amed town I stumbled on a gem of a spa and massage establishment called Amed Bali Spa which I would highly recommend - a full body massage for 1 hour for approximately £7.00 (140,000IDR)
Close by is Lipah Beach (about 7 mins drive/ride) which is perfect for snorkelling and in the opposite direction about 2 mins is Japanese Ship Wreck Point.
In summary, I would recommend this hotel though transport is definitely a requirement.

We absolutely loved our stay here.
We spent a lot of time at the hotel relaxing and swimming. You are greeted with a cold towel, welcome drink and massage on arrival. The breakfast was very generous and the best one that was included with our room during our time in Bali. Snorkelling is nice right out the front of the hotel. Staff are super attentive and remember your name.
The spa is on the second floor from 2pm - 10pm. It overlooks the ocean - I had a pedi and manicure and late massage.
We extended by 1 night, bed is huge.
One of our favourite hotels in Bali so far! It’s in the perfect location for finding great food, coffee, dive shops and the beach. The staff were really attentive and polite. The property is SPOTLESS and so well maintained, someone was always cleaning which really made a difference to our experience (no bugs or dirty bathrooms to worry about!) The pool is so inviting and again very clean.
Amed is beautiful and Oasis has a great location in the middle on the other street to the beach. The staff was exceptional! Friendly and helpful. Alone for them I would go back. The WiFi was the best I had in Bali! You can rent snorkels and scooter right there.
Been coming here many times over the years. Best place in Amed, especially for those enjoying viewing and being in the water - the 'Selang Beach' reef towards Lian Beach is amazing (watch the currents though). The food is fantastic too - Japanese and Balinese.
One of the best places that we been on Bali. Nice place on the Beach. You get welcoming drink, they are very nice and friendly. You can snorkel around and see turtules. Very good spot for sun sets. Very clean and conftalabe room.
