The room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice evening meal in the restaurant, a cut above the normal pub standard, followed by a a few beers in the bar. The breakfast was very good.

The Kings Head is situated in Whiteparish, 14 km from Salisbury Cathedral. Located around 17 km from Old Sarum, the hotel is also 20 km away from Salisbury Racecourse. Super clean! Very comfortable and amazing staff. The breakfast was next level.

Really friendly hosts who could not have done more for us. The location close to the stone circles in Avebury was a bonus, as we had originally intended just a stop over on the way back to London.

With a 2AA Rosettes restaurant and a bar, The Peppermill Town house Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of Devizes town centre. The staff went well above ordinary standards to assist us.

Dating from the 12th century, the historical Castle Inn boasts original features and an innovative restaurant. Situated in picturesque Castle Combe, the Castle Combe Circuit is half a mile away. We loved everything, lovely staff members, beautiful and super cozy room. We had dinner and the food was delicious. Fabulous place.

The Manor House is a stunning 14th-century building set in 365 acres of secluded parkland on the outskirts of Bath. This property is good on so many levels, whether you would like to bring your dog or want a luxury stay. Even the dog friendly rooms are pristine and have a lovely welcome pack for your dog. There are separate areas in the hotel for dog friendly breakfasts so non dog lovers can also enjoy their space. The dog friendly areas are by no means second class, in fact we preferred them.

Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa is a spectacular country-house hotel with Michelin Star dining. It is 9.7 km from Bath within a private 500-acre estate with a walled garden. Beautiful place with lovely view

In the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, this traditional country inn offers stylish and attractive accommodation; Michelin-recommended food; and peaceful, tranquil surroundings for a relaxing or... We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.

Nestled within 12 acres of picturesque Wiltshire countryside, this hotel is a stylish venue where you can relax and revive. We enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed 5 times before and will return again. Service in the Bar was very slow in spite of the face that there was hardly anyone there !!. We stayed on a Tuesday night. In the end we trapped up to the bar to place our order (as we were at risk of missing our table slot for dinner if we wanted a pre dinner drink in the bar) as opposed to waiting for table service. We ate this time in Greys. The Menu was a bit limited. The Spatchcock Chicken was a little disappointing. But overall the meal was good. The wine list was a little pricey. We have thoroughly enjoyed the Michelin tasing menu in the past. Service was VERY slow at breakfast which was a little frustrating as we had made the effort to get up EXTRA early as we were on a tight schedule and had allowed PLENTY of time. We gave our order and nothing arrived - the waitress then came up to us and re confirmed our order - it seemed our order had NOT been processed : ( - however we did have a lovely stay - the hotel has lovely facilities - fortunately all the above has not put us off - the room is very comfortable and we will definitely be back. We still love Whatley Manor :)
