The room was large. It had already been set up with the children's bed prior to our arrival. The staff were very friendly and professional (better than I have met in other places for sure). The hotel was clean. Everything worked. Breakfast was different. It is not a buffet style breakfast. It's made to order like in a restaurant. Ryan took good care of us at breakfast and took my hyper 7yr old son to see how the toaster worked. They were happy to make alterations where possible to the menu for us. Best part for me was the free entry to Bowood house. If you are a history buff, you will love it

The village is so pretty~ it’s a little tricky to get to with all the tiny country roads, but once you find the village you’ve found a little gem in the Wiltshire countryside! The Kings Head is situated in Whiteparish, 14 km from Salisbury Cathedral. Located around 17 km from Old Sarum, the hotel is also 20 km away from Salisbury Racecourse. The location suited our needs, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast chef was a star, he was funny and communicated well with us , making it a good start to the day, nothing was to much trouble for him.

Beautiful English country house hotel - with lovely English country gardens. Staff were a particular strong point. We had a group with numerous dietary requirements which were all met and delivered without any fuss. Service in the Michelin rated dining room was first class at dinner. Very pleasant areas at spa, both inside and outside, to relax in whether or not having treatments. Overall an excellent hotel experience.
