The pub locals and their dogs were friendly too and played their part in the complete package. Hard to believe the team was only put together 6 weeks before our stay. Close to the New Forest. Go there!

Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa is a spectacular country-house hotel with Michelin Star dining. It is 9.7 km from Bath within a private 500-acre estate with a walled garden. The room was spacious and well-decorated. We has all the amenities we needed (robes, slippers, working TV, hair dryer, etc.). The hotel has plenty of activities, so take advantage! We did archery, horseback riding, went to the spa, at at the on-site restaurant, and played tennis (with rackets and balls they provided). It felt like such a genuine country-side experience and was simultaneously relaxing and activity-filled. Staff was wonderful and kind. We would absolutely return.
