Sitting proudly in a wonderful elevated location, the B/W Motherwell Center Moorings Hotel is located in an area of natural beauty, close to a picturesque country park. Parking places in front of the hotel, lovely room - bit warm though, but no problem at all. Bed very comfortable and the whole place - including the restaurant very dog friendly. Breakfast nice - nice staff. What else can you ask for, when traveling alone!

I love this quirky hotel in the magical countryside of South Lanarkshire. Decor and furnishing choices in the rooms can be a bit strange, but all the better after the endless Holliday Inns and other chains. The staff are real people, each of them different, and there is a bit of a buzz about the place that the coach parties add to rather than spoil. The Grand Staircase with the stained glass is straight out of Agatha Christie. Go Tinto !
we’ve stayed here many times, always been a great experience, staff always welcoming and helpful ( particularly Gary ) the hotel is perfectly sited for accessing Lanarkshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh, the rooms and facilities are spot on and breakfast excellent. For the price, comfort and location you won’t find a better hotel in the area.

Very clean room, comfort beds and this gave us the chance to have a good rest. Far from Edinburg though and from Glasgow so next time we should find a nearest accommodation but the hotel was ok. A plus is the pub below so you can grab some beers without having the anxious of driving.
Super clean,nice view and lovely staff Breakfast was amazing, we tried Scottish breakfast and we loved it. Staff were nice and polite, Boshra was lovely and quite helpful.
