The M74 was closed and my satnav could not find alternative direction. However Rosie from reception took the time to phone me with directions. However I still got lost but was absolutely amazed when Rosie turned uo at my car. She made the effort to drive out to find me and guided me to follow her back in. She was shining light and I'm so grateful to her as I'd been lost for hours x

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Sharon for making sure my whole family (4 rooms) had a comfortable stay.
The location was excellent....walking distance to a shopping area and many restaurants
The restaurant on site was closed for 2 of our days but we ate there one night and the food was really good.
A night club next to the parking lot. We checked it out and had a blast!

A 10 minutes walk from the station, walked into a lovely warm pub atmosphere and live music on. The Staff were really friendly and welcoming., especially the guy who checked me in and carried my case up the stairs ( sorry I can't remember your name). My room even had a balcony so I put my milk outside to keep fresh. So grateful there was a kettle to make tea! I felt safe and comfortable in the bar , especially thanks to Samantha and Lucy. And thank you Mari for my lovely clean room!

Visiting family which was our main priority
Bellshill is nice and we have no complaints, however if you have not got a car then taxis are expensive as there is nothing near for eating and shopping. However we knew this when we booked and it was a good choice for our needs
Ideal location if you have a car to get onto the Motorway for Glasgow or Edinburgh

Breakfast was very disappointing with regards to what was on offer. A buffet style breakfast should have everything available for guests. Only scrambled eggs available so had to find someone to ask for a fried egg. Took a long time to come and rest of food was cold by then. Sausages, potato scones bacon were half the size of standard ones. Not worth the money and could have got a much better breakfast elsewhere at a more reasonable price. I look forward to a good breakfast after a stay and expected this hotel to be of the same standard as orevious doubletree hotels I have stayed in.

Breakfast 0/10 it’s not available as advertised when booking
Would not recommend this as a quiet or work option the pub/ function suite downstairs has people outside smoking and the noise is disturbing but I suppose for a Saturday night above a function suite you need to expect it… noise still going on at 1am… highly recommend the hotel if the windows were double glazed and if you’re drinking I’m sure you’d be immune to the racket from the pub and main road traffic. On the plus side room was homely and spotless (except for the beading on doors and skirtings) a lot of recycling would be required due to one use shampoo body wash conditioner etc but 10/10 for supplying extras on an £85 room… was still awake at 7am due to concrete mattress and was so looking forward to a lovely breakfast as advertised… waited for restaurant to open at 10am… 10.25am restaurant still closed. Phoned the contact in the info pack (Kenny) obviously woke the poor guy who informed us they don’t open till 12? Went to cafe on Main St had a great breakfast but hotel needs a website update to stop staff getting calls for a breakfast service they do not provide. Great stopover if you’re drunk and deaf but to be fair the room was lovely and clean with a few exceptions

Completely unsuitable bed for an adult, staff even admitted...
Completely unsuitable bed for an adult, staff even admitted that, still didn't do anything about it so zero sleep. We booked a twin Queen room and were given a family room with sofa bed unfit for kids never mind adults, felt every spring, no one wearing masks or social distancing and no sanitiser at lifts etc. Really didn't enjoy our stay apart from the pool which was very busy too even at 9am on a sunday morning.

Located right beside the train station so a very short walk to reach the hotel. Room was large, with all items you'd want or need, shower was powerful. Modern, clean & well appointed. Free car parking is across the road if arriving by car. Plenty tea & coffee & complimentary biscuits. Bed was comfortable & room silent considering it's located on a busy road.
perfect location in centre of Bellshill and the car park to the rear of the property was handy.
I especially liked the food that was left for us fresh bread, butter and milk perfect for our first morning’s breakfast, meant no hassle of organising breakfast
Special mention to Shona I think her name was, she was an auxiliary at the hotel and went out of her way to help us, even though her shift had already finished.
