The communication was really positive too, (even though we booked last minute on a Saturday night) additional directions were really useful and made sure we found the property without issue - we’ll definitely stay again if we’re in the area

Very sturdy and watertight double door to the deck, tested by the strong winds and rain that evening. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Nice menu with smoked fish selections for bkfst and extra attentive staff. Ample free parking.

Facing the beachfront, The Kenmuir Arms Hotel offers 4-star accommodation in New Luce and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. Breakfast was delicious. We had Eggs Benedict - perfectly cooked. Lovely staff, very welcoming. Delicious dinner when we got there too - Kevin is a stunning chef and has many awards - worth travelling to for this meal! Room was beautiful and bathroom excellent.

Situated in Portpatrick, on a seafront location,The Harbour House Sea front Hotel has a beer garden, coffee and cocktail lounge, and free WiFi in all rooms. The Harbour House was absolutely perfect. After a long day of travel, and not ideal weather upon arrival, this place became our sanctuary. The accommodation exceeded our exception with wonderful view, kitchenette, large bathroom/shower and it was warm and cozy. We ate in the hotel as well, which was an amazing dinner. AND breakfast included in the morning.

Originally an 18th century mansion, Cally Palace is now a sophisticated golf hotel just 48 minutes’ drive from the market town of Dumfries. Absolutely fabulous location. Beautiful rooms. Exceptional service. Big comfy bed, well stocked bathroom. Swimming pool was excellent, there is also a gym, sauna and spa pool. High quality. Really reasonable price. The food was really delicious and high quality.
