Restaurant and menu was excellent. Susan the hostess, couldn't have been more kind and helpfull during our stay. Will definitely return and highly recommend to others.

I wasn't sure what to expect with part of the name being "rooms" and coming into reception behind the building, but it was just lovely. This is a lovely old hotel that has been fixed up very nicely. The man at the desk was so cheerful and helpful. There is a Thai restaurant in the building too that is loved by tourists and locals alike.. Our mattress was comfortable. We were 3 floors up that gave us a view of the lake there and it was nice to sit in the sunshine in the bay window

The Old Brewhouse offers accommodation in Arbroath. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is free WiFi throughout. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Beautiful, quiet place by the sea. Staff made us feel very welcome and saved us a table for dinner at the restaurant. We had Smokie (freshly smoked fish), which is a local specialty and it was excellent! The room was located on the first floor right above the restaurant, and although we could hear other guests entering their rooms, it was very quiet otherwise and the noise from the restaurant could not be heard. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast could be put together individually. They offered a broad array of options ranging from Scottish breakfast items to cereal or porridge. The food was very delicious.

Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back one day.

Hiking the Glen Clova area to Airlie tower, Castle Clova, and Glen Doll was the perfect way to adjust to the time change. Their restaurant staff are to notch.
