Located in Montrose, 1.1 km from Montrose Beach, The Juniper Rooms provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I wasn't sure what to expect with part of the name being "rooms" and coming into reception behind the building, but it was just lovely. This is a lovely old hotel that has been fixed up very nicely. The man at the desk was so cheerful and helpful. There is a Thai restaurant in the building too that is loved by tourists and locals alike.. Our mattress was comfortable. We were 3 floors up that gave us a view of the lake there and it was nice to sit in the sunshine in the bay window

Staff made us feel very welcome and saved us a table for dinner at the restaurant. We had Smokie (freshly smoked fish), which is a local specialty and it was excellent! The room was located on the first floor right above the restaurant, and although we could hear other guests entering their rooms, it was very quiet otherwise and the noise from the restaurant could not be heard. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast could be put together individually. They offered a broad array of options ranging from Scottish breakfast items to cereal or porridge. The food was very delicious.

Good choice of food at breakfast. We ate our evening meal in the bar twice and the food was excellent with a great choice. Room very clean.

Nagyon hangulatos, közel a part,.a vonatot egyáltalán nem hallani ami a szálloda mellett halad el illetve ott van egy állomás. Nagyon közel van egy Coop áruház. Nagyon.jól éreztük magunkat
