Wonderful welcome from Anna. Large room, well appointed with a lovely view over the golf course and close to the beach. Even a a cosy“fire” in the room. Excellent breakfast and wonderful restaurant nearby. Roos Leap. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay.

The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable; big and clean bathroom; windows with views on a small cute garden. Very silent at night, too. There's a supermarket a few meters away and parking facilities around the city. The hotel has its own pub/restaurant, offering a good variation of dishes - great and convenient in a village with not so big an offer for dining out. All perfect, would totally recommend. I stayed here before going for a hike to Corrie Fee, which is half hour away by car.

Was happy that something was avaialble in Edzell. These guys met my requirements, but after a long day and a few nights of a tent anything was good. I will say though that the Bathtub was a wonderful bonus, I ended up falling asleep for a good 45 minutes in the tub with a hot soak! So a great finish to a long grueling day..
