"Located in the coastal resort town of Montrose, Grey Harlings is a family run hotel offering relaxing and cosy stays. What can I say about the Grey Harlings, it was a delight to stay here. The hotel is comfortable, lots of character and very relaxing. We found out that the hotel is run by a family. Linda and rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the garden. The room was cozy, we had restful sleep. The area is very quiet. We went into town for a bite to eat and we had fish and chips. The breakfast the next day was brilliant (compliments to the chef). Hotel suitable for all, especially ideal for golfers being right at the golf course. Would recommend this place!!!

Situated on the edge of the Carnoustie Golf Links Championship Course, the Carnoustie Golf Hotel is less than 200 metres from the sandy beach. Food was great. Staff were exceptional. The setting was perfect. Great kids play area nearby and the public putting green outside the restaurant was perfect for entertaining the kids.

Price/Quality is great over here! Location nearby the beach is fabulous, staff was super friendly and collaborative, food was good and so on and on :-)

The Old Brewhouse offers accommodation in Arbroath. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is free WiFi throughout. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Both breakfast and diner were really nice. We loved the outside space to enjoy the drink and sun. Very nice bar and restaurant. Kind staff.

Set in Kirriemuir and with Discovery Point reachable within 28 km, Airlie Arms Hotel offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. Nice hotel with spacious rooms, very clean and recently renovated or decorated - everything looked quite new and fresh despite being in an old building. The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable; big and clean bathroom; windows with views on a small cute garden. Very silent at night, too. There's a supermarket a few meters away and parking facilities around the city. The hotel has its own pub/restaurant, offering a good variation of dishes - great and convenient in a village with not so big an offer for dining out. All perfect, would totally recommend. I stayed here before going for a hike to Corrie Fee, which is half hour away by car.

Located in the beautiful small village of Edzell, The Panmure Arms Hotel offers bed and free WiFi. The hotel is 40 miles away from Aberdeen and Dundee, and 10 miles from Montrose and the rail station.... Well, this was a bit of a last minute booking as i was on the TGO. Was happy that something was avaialble in Edzell. These guys met my requirements, but after a long day and a few nights of a tent anything was good. I will say though that the Bathtub was a wonderful bonus, I ended up falling asleep for a good 45 minutes in the tub with a hot soak! So a great finish to a long grueling day..
