Hotel Le Clos De La Vouge 3 stars

Hotel in Vougeot

Housed in an former water mill set by a river, Le Clos de la Vouge is located in the heart of a Burgundy vineyard, between Dijon and Beaune. We were there for a wedding and really appreciated our stay there - the staff is welcoming and efficient (quick check in). The hotel is very cute and the room comfortable, the pool is really appreciated; would definitely come back!

Douce Nuits

Hotel in Nuits-Saint-Georges

Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, 20 km north of Beaune, Douce Nuits offers accommodation a few kilometers from Cotes de Nuits vineyards. We loved our stay. Everything perfect. Marie has created an exceptional place in the quiet wine town of Nuits Saint George. The rooms are spacious, stylish and comfortable. And the breakfast is outstanding, served in a stunning atrium filled with tropical plants. We would have liked to have stayed longer than one night to explore the vineyards on the edge of town.

Château Saint-Michel - Cercle des Grands Crus

Hotel in Rully

Set in Rully, Château Saint-Michel, The Originals Relais features a garden and free WiFi. Boasting a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Staying in a beautiful chateau in which the owners kept all original features, renovating with taste and attention to detail. The owners itself live on the property and they and their small team made us very welcome. We did a small wine tasting which was excellent. They store and offer multiple vines from the close neighbourhood vineyards with very reasonable pricing. It was so much fun!

FAQs about hotels in Burgundy

Picturesque Land of Wine and Quiet Abbeys

One of the world’s most famous wine-making regions, Burgundy, has fascinating history and beautiful landscapes. Stunning Romanesque architecture, delicious cuisine and great cycling routes make it a great holiday destination!

Jump on the TGV train in Paris or Lille and start your journey through Burgundy from the region’s capital, Dijon, a thriving city with the world-renowned International and Gastronomic Fair. It was also the birthplace of the original Dijon mustard.

From Dijon, you can explore the entire Côte-d'Or department, the best known part of Burgundy, which produces the world’s finest and most expensive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Make sure a bottle of its quality product accompanies dinner consisting of one of the region’s specialties: coq au vin or beef bourguignon.

For a different kind of a spiritual experience, visit the historic abbeys, including the Vézelay Abbey in the Yonne department, featuring Mary Magdalene relics and for many, a starting point of their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.

Outdoor lovers can enjoy cycling alongside the region’s picturesque canals or admiring them from the widely available cruising barges. The lovely Morvan Regional Natural Park provides great routes for a quiet hike.

After a day spent in the vineyards and nature of Burgundy, one needs a place to put their head down. Booking.com offers a great variety of over 600 properties in the area: from a luxury chateau to smaller boutique hotels.
