Situated near the vineyards of Nuits-Saint-Georges and only 20 minutes from Beaune and Dijon, this typical Burgundy hotel is housed in a 16th-century hunting lodge.

A beautiful little town with a selections of cafes and restaurants, although half were closed due to it being a Monday. I wouldn't necessarily make a point of visiting here specifically, but was perfect for a wander and a meal on an overnight stop.

First visit and driving around the vineyards at picking time was an unexpected delight. From Beaune to beyond Gevrey was just lovely.
Good choices for eating in Nuits-Saint-Georges and the Saturday market and Hopital de Dieu in Beaune was an added bonus.

The code to access the door didn't work on our late night arrival which was frustrating, the staff member did arrive fairly promptly but it took time to check us in as our booking hadn't registered on the system correctly. The room was cheap! It was uncomfortable and the sheets were NOT CLEAN!

Nice scenery and pleasant. Locals are friendly and helpful.
Nice scenery and pleasant. Locals are friendly and helpful. Most things are within walking distance but it would be a necessity if one wants to explore nearby wine properties. Ideal for wine lovers. Knowledge of French not a necessity but definitely a big plus. Restaurants are plentiful and mostly cozy, tasty and affordable.

The hotel is a little bit like the US motel system with individual adjacent rooms with a separate external front door. We were fetching a puppy from Italy to Belgium and this was an overnight stop. The hotel owner made the puppy and us very welcome; We were the only clients at the time and enjoyed a room service supper and pleasant breakfast in the restaurant. Plenty of nearby walks for dog as the back of the hotel is open countryside. Also nice garden for the warmer weather. We were there in freezing temperatures and the room was warm.
Very good location when travelling through France. The rooms are perfectly adequate for a one night stay and both evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Really good, helpful, friendly and professional staff. We were very satisfied with our first stay at this hotel and will return.
the main part of the hotel is beautiful, beds were super comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect. the staff were really helpful booking a restaurant for us and generally really nice
Modern, basic hotel, not far from the autoroute past Dijon. Breakfast was ok, room simple and comfortable, staff very good. Nuits Saint Georges is picturesque, too.
