While returning to our farm in France we spent the night at the Bohrerhof which was half way. I picked it not only for the location but for the fact it is a one of not a chain hotel. The building is new and refreshing in its design and construction. The rooms are a nice size and the shower was a treat. The bed was very comfortable. They have a restaurant on site which serves a great dinner and good breakfast. The staff were all helpful and nice.

Loved everything about this hotel! The check-in staff (specially Aditya and Max) were very welcoming and looked after me through out my stay. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was just amazing. I had a good restful stay in the comfy room after a long hike with great views to the nature landscape.

A pleasant surprise in a beautiful place to make a stop in the Black Forest. The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was very good. This personally managed boutique hotel offers modern hotel rooms in a listed half-timbered house in the beautiful village of Glottertal near Freiburg, between the Black Forest and the Rhine valley. The breakfast was amazing! The best in years and I travel a lot! (Every week) Our family room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The view on the river made us relax. What I liked most was the staff. A super friendly team, passionate about what they do. The service was beyond! When we left the hotel we forgot the duvet and sheets of our baby daughter. They washed it and then sent it to our home address in Holland. Incredible!!

Beautiful location in the middle of the Black Forest with walking routes around the Schauinsland. Freiburg im Breisgau is only a half hour drive away. The continental breakfast had excellent pretzels and the restaurant is excellent, though closed on Mon - Weds, so make sure to bring food for those days or be ready to drive elsewhere. The staff were really helpful in offering tips on places to go. The sauna is lovely and quiet - you can sign up for a slot each day.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was lovely, modern, and very clean. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped. The hotel also had a great location, next to a tram station and close to a super market and a mall. I think it was a great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Breisgau.
This hotel gave us a large, nicely decorated room with ensuite bathroom. It was chosen due to proximity to a meeting the next morning, but is a bit outside of Freiburg am Breisgau. There is a restaurant in the building which was very nice for dinner. Parking was free. The building was reminiscent of the older German hotels, but it was in great shape.
From start to finish, we had a wonderful stay at Park Hotel Post! We particularly appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff and the hotel’s convenient location. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of options for breakfast. In short, we will happily return to this hotel the next time we’re in Freiburg im Breisgau.
I arrived late and the restaurant was fully booked, but the very helpful staff made me a table and the meal was excellent. Breakfast was very relaxed with a lot of choice. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean.

We really enjoyed this hotel!! It exceeded our expectations. All of the rooms were very nice and clean. The service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the wonderful breakfast we had every morning. It was the best breakfast of our entire trip. The hotel is centrally located and the parking for the car was easy to get to. Overall we highly recommend this hotel.
