Hotel has a great location overlooking the Rhine on top of a hill in the older part of town - easy to walk down to the area with shops, restaurants etc but much harder to walk back up. If you do walk back up there's a lovely bar overlooking the Rhine about halfway up the hill. Parked directly outside hotel and also has underground parking Our room was huge and had a view of the Rhine. Just across from the hotel is a garden run by volunteers which is full of herbs etc and has great views over the surrounding areas. We had dinner in the restaurant - good menu / reasonably priced. Unfortunately the small bar was closed during our stay so we had a drink after dinner in the lobby. Excellent breakfast and lovely to sit outside afterwards and enjoy the view
This hotel offers free parking, free use of local transport and a lounge with free Wi-Fi. It is located in the Burkheim district of Vogtsburg, 3.1 mi from the Kaiserstuhl peak.

We loved everything!
A very clean, quiet, spacious, newly renovated apartment with super hosts.
They offered us help and advice whenever we asked for and gifted us a lot of local fruit and some homemade surprise gift.
We had parking, a well equipped kitchen, TV, wifi and whatever else we needed for our stay.
Located in a lovely calm village close to fruit farms and farm shops where you can buy fruit, bread, vegetable, marmalade, eggs, etc from locals.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday away from city crowd, this place is the best!
We truely recharged our batteries with hospitality, nature and fresh food!

Bad food and really bad service from the Reception and in the restaurant. Reception would not share information on relevant activities in the area, e.g. outdoor public swimbad 1 km from the hotel. We asked two persions in reception over two days and the refused to tell what was evident on Google map. And was a really nice public swim bath.

We were hoping to experience a robust Christmas market in Breisach am Rhein, but it was extremely small & not worth attending. I was sorely disappointed as websites said it was supposed to be wonderful.

We enjoyed visiting the area it’s been quite a while since our last visit.
We were too early for the Christmas markets but equally managed to miss the crowds.
Locals were helpful and friendly.
Colmar and Freiburg were both good places to visit and eat.

Very roomy studio with 2 floors. 2 large beds that were very good, very soft (memory foam?).
We arrived late and still were very welcome.
The hotel takes care of the environment; electric cars can be charged (for free!) and there are also charging points for electric bikes.
