We were able to have the sliding door on to the balcony open and just close the screen so the sound of the sea was beautiful.

The apartment was very specious and well equiped, especially the kitchen was very practical. We did not have enough time to enjoy the cozy backyard with firepit and music, but it all looked very inviting! We liked the quiet neighbourhood that was still close to Victoria, the Westcoast of Vancouver island and the airport. The reserved parking space was a major plus! Last but not least, the hosts were very friendly, the complementary coffee and wine felt like a genuine welcome in their home. We would definitely stay here again!
Langford
location great just off main highway. The area has grown since last visit so traffic was a little bit more than i expected. This is an apartment attached to a town home with washer dryer dishwasher at the end of a cul de sac. Exactly what i needed after my 8 day cruise...was able to prepare for another week on Vancouver Island. Owners friendly helpful. Everything is clean and new and working properly. They use Dove products Quiet neighborhood. Close to costco and grocery store if you dont need to buy in bulk.
Port Alice
We spent three weeks traveling around Canada, and this was one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we stayed. Additionally, the internet was super fast and available around the entire property, including the garden. Johan was extremely nice and gave us some wild salmon to cook on the BBQ since the local grocery store does not sell fresh fish. Paula's breakfast was delicious. If we ever return to Vancouver Island, we will definitely come back to stay at the Frigon Suite in Port Alice.
Shawnigan Lake
Our experience exceeded all possible expectations. We love visiting Vancouver Island but this time was so special particularly because we stayed at Shawnigan Hills! The suite is huge, well stocked and well-equipped with practically everything a guest might want. However, we got so much more than just a perfectly designed and maintained b&b. No hotel could be compared to the hospitality and care we received here. Our advice: plan to stay for more than 1 night, it is worth it!
Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the beach & boardwalk. Location was good but a fair walk to Arrowsmith Brewing. Bathroom was excellent & was the best of our recent stays in Vancouver Island. As we had not booked a separate restaurant we decided at the last minute to eat in the hotel restaurant & for some bizarre reason we received a complimentary meal but we had not given our name or room number, most strange. Also included free underground parking.
charming hotel with a good vibe and original concept, attracting a mixed friendly crowd. from the coffee shop over the stylish lobby bar and the outoor whirlpool to the busy restaurant, all hotel facilities exceeded our expectations. the stillwater spa located in a tent behind the hotel offered great massages after a day out in a unique setting. zed was overall our favourite accommodation on vancouver island - thumbs up!
We stayed here on our first night on Vancouver Island, on our way up to the northern part of the island. It was a good location for that as we could get on Canada One without driving through Victoria in the morning. The beds were comfortable. They had good climate control for the room.
Hotel is conveniently located, close to the Theatre and downtown Chemanius. The room was quiet, clean, and modern, and had a refrigerator and K-cup coffee maker. The breakfast was quite comprehensive and featured coffee from a Vancouver Island roaster.
Victoria
The staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and well served. The breakfast competed with food served at 5 star hotels. the location was within walking distance of the Victoria Inner Harbor—most desired location on Vancouver Island.
Nanaimo
The staff, the facilities and the attached restaurant were top notch. We would recommend this hotel to business clients and family/friends who were visiting Vancouver Island and area. The underground secure parking is a bonus.
I really loved how clean and nice everything was. It was very spacious. The staff was the chef's kiss to this hotel. They were very helpful and friendly. I would come back again when I visit the Vancouver Islands again.
The room was perfect, neat, clean and up to date. We had a comfortable stay. Nanaimo is not the most enjoyable place to our opinion, but this hotel was perfect for our one night stay to drive into vancouver island.
Campbell River
It's a beautiful location with a lot of space in and around the property. It is quiet and you have an amazing view on the water and quadra island. It definitely gets you in the Vancouver Island spirit.
Parksville
Everything, there upgrades to the property and rooms are spot on and there dedication to making the guests stay as comfortable as possible is incredible. Best hotel on Vancouver island
The staff and facilities were great. One of the better hotels on Vancouver Island, especially for families. The staff members on the front desk were very helpful.
For the price, this was our best stay on Vancouver Island. The bed, the bathroom, the balcony and the room were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.
clear recommendation for a night on Vancouver Island. comfortable bed in a nice apartment.
It is absolutely 10 for us. The unit was big enough and clean, it also contained all needed staff for cooking. Hotel has a great feature if you don’t want daily cleaning, you can just request things which you need (for example, additional coffee or tea). On the hotel territory you can find 2 cafes, where we took delicious fish&chips. Location is perfect, we took advantage of meeting sunset near to ocean. Territory is pretty big and even has small trail, which lead to a great view spot. We definitely want to return.
We are a party of 4 and took the upper bungalow with a double bed and a sofa double bed. Even if it was at the back not seafront it still had a fabulous view.
situated on the edge of a beautiful beach, views are incredible. the main lodge is inviting to spend time and relax.
