From our arrival to checkout staff were ALL exceedingly helpful. The front desk helped with our dinner, my dog, a bit of a jerk. also welcome. I cannot say enough about this little gem of a spot. They responded to all my questions online immediately. We will keep this spot for our next visit.

Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much!
We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

The close proximity to the town of Qualicum. The interior of the Hotel has been recently upgraded and was very nice, the room was spotless. The exterior was however in very poor condition, with some severe damage to some of the Seawall and rooms nearest the ocean were decommissioned. The hotel is apparently dealing with their insurance company pertaining to the severe damages incurred from a winter storm
Beautiful spacious room with a good bathroom and large rain shower.
The hot tub was superb. As the pool heater was broken, a cold water dip was an option for the brave!
Lovely hosts who provided a good choice of quality breakfasts.
The only downside was the squeaky bed.
The beach and sea were just the other side of Qualicum Beach Resort opposite, with the quaint town centre a 15 minute walk uphill.
The room was very clean, had a lovely view of the ocean, and was very well appointed with thoughtful little touches, such as soft washcloths, glass wineglasses and beer mugs (no plastic), and seating inside and out to enjoy the view. The general decor was tasteful and relaxing. The hotel manager Simmie was very friendly and helpful.
We loved this little hotel. The full kitchenette was well stocked. It was completely seperate from the bedroom which was a big perk.
Though an older building, it is recently renovated, comfortable beds, very clean. All around great stay.
The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely setting and location. Our suite was wonderful, exceptionally clean, with nice amenities. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful.
