What did I think of the breakfast? It was cereal or granola bars-basic. A full breakfast was offered for a price.
What did I think of the location? We were advised about the gravel road but it was rougher than I thought it would be. But it was a beautiful spot on a mountainside- lovely view.

Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much!
We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

The rooms were very nice , but ..... we stayed on a sun and mon. Sun eve there were people there ,but after that. There was no one around. Couldn't get ice , or assistance.
Not what I was expecting for 300. Dollars a night.
Sorry. But could have an ice machine and a machine for snacks.
Thanks.
The outside carpets leading into the room was very dirty so was the patio area. The outside chairs hadn't been cleaned at all. No restaurants are open on Monday or Tuesdays, which we were unaware of before our stay. In addition we asked for a late checkout and were denied. The reason given was due to COVID rules, yet we have stayed at several other hotels with much better standards and have been provided a late checkout. The one positive was being right on the Ocean.
I paid extra for a seaview, but was initially given a ground floor room in a corner, obstructed by buildings and te cafe; a mere glimpse of the water. I complained and was given an upper floor room AT EXTRA COST. Other thn that the hotel and staff were excellent. Only other quibble was the road construction outside thehotel. This made reaching the hotel a challenge initially and we were given no notice of this obstruction.
Our room was most comfortable and we really appreciated sitting in their cozy arm chairs sipping our morning coffees while looking out at the spectacular view of Qualicum Beach. The Nespresso machine and wine glasses were a nice touch. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as it is across from the beach, by an excellent restaurant and just minutes from the charming little town of Qualicum.
