Is most definitely more than a motel, I wish more motels were like this one . The owners clearly care about their motel & have gone to great lengths to ensure the rooms are well laid out, very comfortable, practical, and clean ( the bathroom is impressive, large , great shower, plenty of hot water, with various different face cloths, towels, make up wipes etc all on the shelf ) We stayed in room 211, on a very stormy November night, the views from the room were incredible straight out to the beach & ocean…

Each unit in this Newport motel features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and ocean views. Located directly on the beach, it offers private beach access. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. it was the last minute booking.Totally the best stay during 3 weeks road trip with our small dog in the States,wish we could stay longer.Great staff,beautiful spacious ocean view suite,it got everything,everything!great great great stay,highly recommend it!

Beautiful to walk the path in front of the Inn and watch the surf surge onto the rocks. Spectacular on our windy day. Our room looked to have been completely and newly renovated. Would stay there again. Drift Inn Greek pizza recommended by us.

Free Wi-Fi is included in all tastefully decorated suites. Loved the location, walkable to downtown restaurants. The room was beautiful, cozy and very stylish. The bed was comfortable. Easy access to the interstate for visiting nearby parks and attractions. Loved Smith Rock Park! Could have spent more time in this area, loved Bend!!

Room was clean and looked to be recently renovated. Motel was in a good location for what I needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to modify my stay dates, they were very helpful and patient with the process.
It was very good value for money. We stayed in a room in the "motel" style section, so it definitely feels like a motel rather than a hotel. But I appreciated that the room was clean and recently renovated. I also appreciated the free parking and the self-serve laundry in the basement. Also, we really liked the free tea, coffee, and cookies in the main lobby (and the tiny garden area for sitting). The location was great, close to Washington Park. Overall, for the price point, we were very satisfied!

All of it: free parking, the location, the reception, the facilities, the size of the room. This was our last hotel/motel from a month long trip in NW USA, and it had everything that we expected from a motel room for 2 persons: a fully equipped kitchenette, a living room, kitchen table, a separate bedroom with second TV, and an en suite bathroom. And that only for the price of 110 EUR per/n ! We also got a free entrance to the Japanese garden. Thank you nice receptioniste !
This is a retro motel without pretending to be a retro motel. It’s true to itself. The staff is perfect. It’s a great place to bring kids and to stop on the road up the Oregon coast. There’s a little town only a few minutes away with plenty of amenities and a grocery store that has everything you need. We could’ve easily stayed a week or more.
This is a very comfortable and centrally located motel, with free parking on site, kitchenette and welcoming staff. It is close to supermarkets and pharmacies and several restaurants on NW 23rd, and is an easy walk to downtown. Also close to Washington Park and the trails past the Japanese and rose gardens. There is an elevator which was functioning well. We did not find that traffic noise was an issue during our stay.
Furnished room with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, fan, room is very spacious. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels and toiletries. Clean. Breakfast sufficient - tea, coffee, several types of juices, a large selection of sweets and pastries, jams. Hassle-free parking directly in front of the room. Check-out was super fast, there was no need to solve anything. There is a 24/7 supermarket and a Chinese restaurant right across from the motel.
