The room was wood and quite cute and was clean in the sleeping area. Kathy was great when she checked us in. The blinds were ok but not dark enough.

A truly "oceanfront" motel, with direct, beach-level access. Great view of the beach from the balcony which was walkable in either direction. The walls in the room appeared to have been recently painted. It is very quiet at night, with the door closed the ocean isn't obtrusive, and the bedding and towels are clean. A very quiet refrigerator which was clean and worked well. Seemingly limitless, really hot water was available.

The. 4 Winds is an older Motel that has had a very nice facelift. Very clean. I was returning home from a family reunion by myself, so I only wanted a single queen, so they gave me a suite with a sofa in a separate area from the bed. The price was very reasonable for a very comfortable room. The motel is an easy walk to the center of town right across the street from the ocean. There’s no view to speak of but you can hear the ocean. We drive up the coast at least once a year and will definitely be stopping here again.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
My room was very comfy and cozy and had everything I needed! The motel is minutes from the casino and town. The staff was very welcoming and kind. I would 💯 stay here again!
Location is superb! 😃 Beach access is wonderful, it's maybe 12 to 15 ft away once you walk around the back side of the motel. also, I believe every room has full view of the ocean and beach.
If they upgraded the in room coffee, creamer to include some tea choices and better toiletries, then I would give this gem of a getaway a 9 out of 10. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Sandcastle and we will be returning again and again for years ahead! 😃
The motel is easy to find, spacious car park, on a stone trow away from an entrance to the magnificent beach. The lively owner gave great tip for a restaurant, pier 101 with great atmosphere and fresh seafood.
Room 1 is spacious, has complete kitchen with equipment, spacious bathroom, a bar and sitting area.
Unfortunately we stayed only the night and left early, but would recommend anyone to stay here.
Well kept older motel that has been well kept and updated. Very homey and walking distance to beach access. Friendly staff made it even better. I hope the cost can stay where it is because hardworking families could save and stay here for vacation.
