Four Winds Motel, hotel in Newport

Located in Depoe Bay, Oregon, this motel offers easy access to whale watching and deep sea fishing. Dockside Charters is 15 minutes’ walk away. All guest rooms include free Wi-Fi.

The. 4 Winds is an older Motel that has had a very nice facelift. Very clean. I was returning home from a family reunion by myself, so I only wanted a single queen, so they gave me a suite with a sofa in a separate area from the bed. The price was very reasonable for a very comfortable room. The motel is an easy walk to the center of town right across the street from the ocean. There’s no view to speak of but you can hear the ocean. We drive up the coast at least once a year and will definitely be stopping here again.

You arrive at super saver with your kin, just for an early morning fishing charter. Dread from past motels starts to set in as you check into the smelly office and make your way through the craters in the cement and holes in the wall....only to be completely surprised that the inside is super clean, fresh, updated. One of the cleanest motels ive stayed at actually.

I highly recommend Agate Beach Motel! The location is fabulous, the rooms are charming and VERY clean, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Plus, I loved the s'more kits that we used around the gas fire pit overlooking the ocean. So happy we stayed there!

Upgraded old highway motel. The room was very nice. The location along caused some road noise. My room was on the highway side of the building. Rooms on the side facing the hospital may be quieter. I knew I would be using the room simply to sleep in and it met that purpose at a reasonable price. It’s an easy three block walk to the beach, though you do have to cross the highway (both pedestrian crossings and traffic lights to cross).

Everything! I will dream about the perfection of this motel and will judge all others based on it! Tue rooms were cute and clean and updated. The quaintness of the motel with the front porches, fire pit, and easy access to the beach all made for a dream stay. The people working there were so kind and accommodating. They kept the fire going late for us and provided us with all we needed to make s’mores. The bed was comfortable and the shower was strong and hot!

Furnished room with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, fan, room is very spacious. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels and toiletries. Clean. Breakfast sufficient - tea, coffee, several types of juices, a large selection of sweets and pastries, jams. Hassle-free parking directly in front of the room. Check-out was super fast, there was no need to solve anything. There is a 24/7 supermarket and a Chinese restaurant right across from the motel.
