The staff were exceptional. We accidentally left our iPad there and they were so helpful in getting it shipped to us. We anticipated it would be a few days to get it but they were so quick to get the iPad out we had it arrive at our location before we even got there. Their recommendations for things to do in the area were great. We enjoyed our time at this motel.

Being a historical sort of the place, the rooms are small in footprint, but feel large due to the high roofs. Very quiet compared to some places I have stayed; double glazed windows are a nice touch. Very homely feel. The free parking (when available) is a nice touch. Excellent value for a business traveler that just wants some peace. Wifi worked well. 24hr front desk makes it easy for those arriving out of normal motel/hotel hours.

we didn't know when we booked about the roadworks on the road outside the motel, and were very happy the motel put us in a downstairs quiet room. Thank you!. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious and without the roadworks would have had access to the lake across the road. We didn't see the staff but were given the code for the box the get our room key, very covid friendly

Right opposite the sea. Easy walk into Napier centre. Napier is just gorgeous with all the are deco buildings and the care they have given to making the sea frontage beautiful. Coloured fountains at night etc. Motel well appointed. Welcoming staff. Clean and very comfortable room. Great shower. Enough mugs, plates etc. Bed very good and a balcony to look at the sea. Although on the road to town, hardly any cars came through at night so peaceful. Off road parking. Would recommend.
The motel is located directly opposite a supermarket and mall and not too far from the town centre and some of the sights. Best of all, for $10 the person at reception washed and dried our clothes and left them in our room. Brilliant service. Room was great, what we needed and we cooked on our 1st night and prepared lunch for the following day. There is certainly plenty to do in the Rotorua area and BK’s motor lodge was ideal as a base.
Had a warm welcome to BKs, with easy free parking available. The motel is in an excellent location on the Esplanade with views across the bay and harbour.. The Esplanade was just across the road, convenient for walking or jogging or a stroll to the Settlers Museum. Our room was well equipped and had two comfortable arm chairs, also patio doors for with access to table and chairs for an evening drink watching the sun set. This was our favourite motel on our tour of New Zealand.
Oh my word, what an amazing motel! This place felt like more of a wonderful hotel than just a place to sleep on the road. Staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and incredibly well equipped. Loads of toiletries and even chocolates on the bed. Microwave, toaster and kettle were absolutely spotless. It was super clean and felt like they took great care to clean the bits that motels normally miss. The bed was super comfortable. They even had a washer and dryer you could use. An absolute must stay place!
