Situado nas margens do Rio Tugela, a 22 km a norte de Winterton, o Tugela River Lodge apresenta acomodações auto-suficientes a 13 km da Reserva Natural Spioenkop e a 22 km do Museu Winterton. This was an amazing stop on our honeymoon. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as it rained both days, but it was a great place to disconnect from everything and relax. The property is very nicely appointed with everything you need to stay in and cook, amazing wildlife around the river. We did a hike and saw the giraffe’s in the adjacent park which was a highlight of the trip.

They have put some much love and attention to the place and also made us feel like home. We enjoyed their beautiful garden, so so special it was!! And after our stay they also helped us with the flat tires that we had. Really appreciate all the help and the stay. Thankyou very much 😊

Com um bar, o Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge está localizado em Kruisfontein. A propriedade utiliza energia solar e dispõe de chalés em madeira de estilo canadense. The scenery is really something else. You are already quite remote in this part of ZA but once they bring you up with the 4x4 the only people you will encounter are those on the premise itself. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. All in all great value and a very relaxing place with great views and hikes!

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. Thanks for making us so welcome and accommodating our thirst for the great outdoors!

Located around a privately owned lake with views of the Drakensberg mountain range, Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers secluded chalet accommodation in a tranquil setting with game viewing... It was the most perfect setting. Off the beaten track surrounded be mountains by a lake.

Localizado em Nottingham Road, o Gowrie Golf Lodge oferece vistas para um campo de golfe e oferece vistas panorâmicas para a barragem e para os arredores exuberantes. The staff were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Particularly Ever and Patricia. The whole environment and ambiance were brilliant. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. The small function we had for our friends was well organized and the food was of very high quality and presentation.

Apenas a 8,2 km de Monks Cowl Country Club, Ondini Guest House apresenta acomodações em Winterton com um jardim, um salão partilhado e uma cozinha partilhada. Excellent Host and accommodation in a beautiful area. The location is perfect, a little off for a very peaceful atmosphere. The house is huge and offers everything necessary for a great stay.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Silver Hill Lodge is located in Mooirivier. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. Extras include bed linen and ironing facilities. Exactly as per pictures, it was magnificent

Overlooking the Spioenkop Game Reserve, Three Tree Hill Lodge offers luxury accommodation. It features a sun deck next to an outdoor swimming pool. There are hiking trails and guided tours available. The staff are amazing and so accommodating and friendly. The location is spectacular- overlooking spionkop and you can see the Drakensberg mountains on the other side. Very family/kid friendly with toys and games in our cabin. Food was incredible too Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend and come back again
