Featuring a bar, Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge is located in Kruisfontein. The property is solar powered and offers Canadian-style log cabins. Very intimately remote, few cabins so small amount of guests. Jeremiah was a gem and packed us lunches for our hike and our drive the next morning. The hikes are breathtaking. Dinners were romantic, cozy, and delicious!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Silver Hill Lodge is located in Mooirivier. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. Extras include bed linen and ironing facilities. Such a beautiful place, with such beautiful surroundings, makes it a peaceful place. The people of Silver Hill are wonderful

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. Thanks for making us so welcome and accommodating our thirst for the great outdoors!

Located around a privately owned lake with views of the Drakensberg mountain range, Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers secluded chalet accommodation in a tranquil setting with game viewing... This place is exceptional - way beyond expectations and beyond any stay we had in the country the view and surroundings are unbelievable- the photos here don’t do it justice. the place is impeccable and the service and staff were just perfect.

Located in Nottingham Road, Gowrie Farm Golf Lodge overlooks a golf course and offers panoramic views of the dam and lush surroundings. It features a sun terrace and a bar. Clean neat safe beautiful environment

Situated in Balgowan in the KwaZulu-Natal region and Bosch Hoek Golf Club reachable within 4.5 km, Sounds in Silence features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

Located just 8.2 km from Monks Cowl Country Club, Ondini Guest House features accommodation in Winterton with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Excellent Host and accommodation in a beautiful area. The location is perfect, a little off for a very peaceful atmosphere. The house is huge and offers everything necessary for a great stay.

Featuring garden views, Qambathi Mountain Lodge in Kamberg Valley features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Great staff, beautiful room - we stayed in the stable suite. Lunch was delicious as was dinner. Very serene and laid back atmosphere
