Stunning property situated on the river that runs from Lake Taupo to the Huka Falls. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and provides seating and dining areas inside and outside. The rooms are equally wonderfully, each having access to a Porch, rolling grass and the river view.

Questo rifugio di lusso vanta una posizione tranquilla e una splendida vista sul Lago Taupo e sul Monte Tauhara. Offre la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita e ampi giardini. This was a very spacious enclosed room with a small kitchenette and lovely bathroom and double doors to the lovely garden. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Would consider staying longer next time but it was a last minute stop to rest up for our trip home. Very relaxing and enjoyed the pets.

Situato a Turangi, a 41 km da Taupo, il Turangi Leisure Lodge offre un salone in comune e la connessione WiFi gratuita. Bellissimo soggiorno. L'appartamento era veramente bello, grande e attrezzato. Menzione speciale anche per la cucina (molto comoda e funzionale) e per i bagni finestrati, con lavatrice e con docce e lavandini grandi (cosa non scontata perché in Nuova Zelanda molti posti hanno lavandini minuscoli). Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il miglior posto dove abbiamo soggiornato in Nuova Zelanda tra tanti provati.

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River. A cosy place to stay. Near the Tongariro river and surrounded by birds singing. We had an excellent time to relax there. I also highly recommend the restaurant. The meat was perfect, and the cheesecake was exceptional. We will return.
