Fabulous illuminated bridge at night, one of many with lit up boats on the river. The city can be confusing with lots of waterways and a beach nearby so I advise going full on with the maps apps. I booked into one hotel to be told I was in another - don't expect 5* service from cheap hotels in Vietnam. In the Northern rural region you can hope for very friendly people who do not see many farang. Their salaries are a pittance and jobs are hard to find compared to the West so be generous when you can. Avoid getting angry with the local men when they are drunk in large groups as that won't turn out well.

Try and time your trip to be there for Friday and Saturday night when the bridge has a fire show. Don't do what I did and be on the wrong side of the river. You want to be on the beach side where the dragons head is

These apartments are as amazing as they look on the pictures. They are spacious, clean and feel very safe. There is a ceiling fan and also air con. Towels and shower gel / shampoo are provided and they even put out little dental kits . The location is good you can see the dragon bridge from the reception.
The hotel is located in the city centre and it close proximity to Han Market and Son Tra Night Market. We could view the Han River and the Dragon Bridge from our room.
Stayed one night here (1 Dec) The hotel has a retro vibe, and the lobby is charismatic with great photo angles and interesting antiques, though there is a musty smell. The location is central, within walking distance to Han Market and Dragon Bridge, with plenty of eateries nearby. The staff, especially the bellman, were very friendly and served us with a great smile. Our room included a lovely complimentary afternoon tea. The room was spacious and definitely good value for money!
This hotel is situated in a main street and not far from the dragon bridge. My room was spacious and clean. The staff downstairs are very helpful.
Good value for money.
Lovely large room, with superb shower, overlooking the Han River and Dragon Bridge. (If you are here on a Saturday or Sunday evening 9pm, walk to bridge for the dragon's head for the show). Location pretty good, about 10 mins walk to go under the bridge on hotel side for restaurants, shops and over the bridge for the hustle & bustle of Da Nang. It took us approx. 25 mins to walk to My Khe Beach but absolutely worth it, sat & had a few beers watching the world go by!

this is the best hotel to stay during our 10 day trip in Vietnam. amazing location, we got apartment with sea view from balconies and dragon bridge from bedroom window. the city skyline view from 23rd floor is amazing. the staff is also very amazing, they go out of their way to make sure the stay is perfect. even they've got a kids play room, my toddler really enjoyed the play time.

Nice modern looking hotel. Friendly and helpful reception and doorman staff. Great view of the river and the Dragon Bridge from our room. Convenient location for the town centre area, but about 15 minutes from the beach. We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel 2 doors up the street has a great Sky Bar with live music and good food. The Vietnamese restaurant next door is very good.

Breakfast was really good, they cooked new food every day, which was nice and the only place in Vietnam where we stayed that did that.
The rooftop pools is also really nice.
Walking distance from the beach and in max 10 minutes by car you can get to the dragon bridge.
You can also rent a motorbike via the hotel.
We really had a wonderful stay!
Great hotel, we only had the 1 bedroom apartment but was great because we could put the kids to bed and sit in the main room. Great size and a large bathroom. We liked the location. Short walk to the beach and the dragon bridge and quick in a Grab. Lots of massage places to choose from and great little places to eat right in the street.
